Rock Solid Prints, stone-like finish, beautiful colors.
OVERTURE Rock PLA looks like sculpture but prints like a dream. The marble texture hides layer lines and adds a touch of artistry to even simple models. Flow is steady, adhesion is strong, and cleanup is easy. This filament does not film perfection, it videos progress, one flawless layer at a time.

No Cleanup Needed! The perfect Filament!
Absolutely impressed with the quality, beauty, flawless finish, and texture of this incredible filament. This has been the only filament that I have purchased that printed so cleanly that I pulled it off my plate and did ZERO cleanup. Will be buying all their colors of filament! Just blown away and video and pictures don’t do it justice. Worked like a dream with my Flashforge AD5X. Temperature range was exact. No stringing! No mess! No cleanup needed.

Feels like stone, prints like silk!
This has a matte, stone-like finish to it. Some reviewers have complained that it is a bit difficult to work with, and it does have some quirks -no denying it. I have found that it sticks pretty well to PEI plates if you keep your plate heat at least 50F (I may go a little higher on my next print) and while the instructions recommend a nozzle temp max of 220, I've found 225F works best for me. Less than this has resulted in failure to bond, with the resulting spiderweb. So far, I like the thread and am eager to try some other prints. I'm also eager to see how well it accepts paints. I had hoped it would have more of a granite look, but the dark specs in the plastic give it more of a marble-like rock look. One of my co-workers actually thought it was stone until she picked it up (grin). Overall, I'm impressed with it. No clogs, and pretty painless (so far). Recommendations: Run a little on the hot side. This is an abrasive plastic. Make sure your bed is well leveled and the hot-end is close to the bed or it won't stick to the bed. I look forward to trying some colored versions of this thread. Note: it did not come with a print bed like some of their other spools usually do (no big deal since I rely on my PEI plate). --- Update 10/21 Still love this stuff! Just completed a candy bowl skull for Halloween. I'm going to be ordering a new roll shortly. I continue to be impressed! For statues or 'stone work', this is my new "go-to" filament.

Stunning Realism and High-Quality Prints
The Overture Rock PLA filament is absolutely worth the effort to dial in the settings. It took me a bit of trial and error to get everything perfect, but the results are incredible. The prints have a realistic stone-like texture that really makes them pop. I’ve been able to create marble-like Greek statues that resemble real, carved stone. Color quality was really good and turned out amazingly. So flexible. The spool feeds smoothly with minimal tangling, and the dimensional accuracy is spot on. Once you get the settings right, it’s such a joy to print with. I'm definitely planning to grab more while it’s on sale. This filament elevates 3D prints to a whole new level.

Nice filament, a little temperamental
Overall a good filament but not the easiest to work with. Some issues with adhesion with smaller parts and some bubbles/chunks, both possibly related to whatever texture additive for the "rock" PLA. Colors are really nice, not as vibrant as shown in the pictures but the better for it. It's a unique rainbow based on my experience and a nice balance of the various colors. Would recommend if you're willing to put up with some optimization work.

Jarrah - Great Color and Texture
My understanding is that this not a real wood filament, which would only be a problem if this didn't have such a lovely texture. My biggest gripe with a lot of filaments containing calcium carbonate (e.g. marble/rock) or wood is that they often still result in a shiny and obviously plastic texture, but this has a gorgeous matte finish. The Jarrah color prints slightly less red than it appears in the photos and on the roll, but still results in fantastic color, texture, and overall aesthetic similar to terracotta pottery. All in all, it was well worth the sub-$20 price. Overture also nailed the stock profile in orca: The temperature tower I printed on my centauri carbon (with a hardened steel nozzle) had optimal adhesion without stringing at a temperature of 220° and printed reasonably quickly for an abrasive filament at a max volumetric flow of 16mm/sec. The optimal temp for my Qidi X-Plus 4 was 225°, so I still recommend doing a quick temperature tower beforehand to get the best results.

“Stone Cold Reliable”
I’ve been running Overture Matte PLA on my bench for a while now, and this stuff just flat-out performs. The color pops like crazy you can see the definition in every facet of my print (check the golem pic). It lays down smooth and doesn’t warp even on longer runs. Matte finish makes it look painted right off the printer no sanding, no filler, just clean texture and crisp edges. Filament feeds consistent, no clog drama, and it tolerates temperature swings like a champ. prints like butter, looks like rock. If your printer’s tuned, this filament will make it look like you actually know what you’re doing and great price point.

Currently a "no" for me. .4mm nozzles.
For starters, I come from a long time of 3d printing since ender, and still own one. I have dealt with many issues and filament, modified g-code, completely built out print parameters ect. so I do infact know to some extent what I'm doing. This is my first time using this filament brand and immediately was met with issues. I switched it to one of my bambu printers to see if maybe I just had bad configs and it only got worse. It is possible that I just got a junk roll but got $17, honestly this shouldn't be an issue in 3D printing today. We've come a very long way and it should argument be non existent. If you're using a .6 or .8mm nozzle maybe this won't be an issue, but on 3 different high quality .4mm nozzles I had non stop problems. Now it's just wall art. If the seller would like to try again, I'm happy to change my review as perhaps it really was just a rough batch but currently it's a no for me. I really wanted it to work because it's perfect in color for some Mars planet work I'm creating but it's just too finicky.
