This is a quality item however it is fortunate that I am a tradesman and not a diyer as it comes with two templates to fit it with and both are completely useless had I drilled the large hole according to the template I would now be left with a door that would be of no use to anyone.If you purchase this item I suggest the first thing you do is throw away the template

Love the bright chrome against the white and that they are lockable

I have bought quite a few of these door handles, both for myself and for some of my customers. Easy to fit, once you get into the knack, and they work very well.For the price, I have no complaints.PS: I have had one, out of the 30 or so that I've bought that was faulty on arrival (spring return mechanism). I contacted the seller, the seller sent a replacement immediately.Can't fault the service from the seller, and I can accept that once in a while things are manufactured with a fault (I used to work in industry).When/if the need crops up again, I would be happy to buy these again.

A well presented looking product, but I discovered after fitting, you need to be careful and have your keys with you at all times. To explain, if you turn a quarter turn to the left, you'll hear a click, can remove your key and lock the door on closing. If you do not realise you are about to lock the door as I did and leave your keys inside the room, you can lock yourself out causing a BIG problem. People are forgetful at the best of times, so this safety feature, although appreciated was unexpected and unexplained. The information leaflet only provides installation instructions and no warning of this. Please amend your instructions because it caused me great distress yesterday with my handyman having to return and remove part of the door frame to gain access to the room where I had left my keys. I write this to provide constructive feedback in the hopes other customers do not accidentally go through what I did.

Very good quality product at the right price.

The knob was a bit of a struggle to install on the door. What is worse is that one knob has a pair of holes and none on the other so you have to either try tension fit it or glue it to the door. I have been forced to buy some gorilla glue to try to glue it together which is not ideal and looks unstable. Not worth the hassle to be honest.

Just arrived this evening and both fitted in 40 minutes as DIYer, seem to work well and quality not that bad comparing to ones took off. Would recommend these as a budget friendly way to give the kids a lock on room to escape baby brother terror. He’s not impressed but big brothers are!
