The media could not be loaded. Based on some helpful reviews, **I ordered XL and they fit wonderfully** I usually wear a M or L but who wants elastic digging in at the waist? I opted for comfort and happiness and am glad I got the XL. I have a 31” waist, 41” hips, 31” inseam; I’m 5’7” with a very short torso and lonnng legs and I don’t feel like these are too short. I actually have that problem when I try on most shorts because they creep up around my inner thighs and butt. Shorts are generally unflattering for me unless I have them altered. I’m just so much happier in skirts 🤸🏿‍♂️I was originally looking for something pretty-but-sporty for paddleboarding and was delighted to find these. I first ordered White and was so happy that it’s not see-through on dark skin. I wore them out for a 25-minute power walk and, surprisingly, the attached briefs stayed in place on my booty with hardly any shifting and **NO WEDGIE!!**🍑 As soon as I got home I ordered more. I wear these for powerwalks, DANCE socials, exercise and paddleboarding. I LOVE THEM so much!!***UPDATE August 2022: I NOW HAVE EIGHT of these: Navy Polka Dot, Wine, Grey, Plain Navy, Olive Green, Orange/Red and Leopard —which is gorgeous and unique with white swirls over the leopard. Been wearing them all summer. I hope they come out with more patterns. (Giraffe print, please!!)FABRIC & QUALITY: So nice and not shiny — it’s more of a matte finish so they can transition from swimwear to a regular sports skort (for tennis, walking, jogging …) and look just as nice with a cute top for a picnic, street festival, … so many possibilities!I ordered other swim skirts from several different sellers and returned those because they were too fitted — like sausage casing or like I was wearing a tube.THESE swim skirts have such a nice shape and A-line fit which is more flattering for me. 👗WOULD I CHANGE ANYTHING? I recently started wearing these for dance practice and dance socials so I wish they had attached shorts instead of briefs for more butt coverage. A hidden, inner pocket at the waist would be nice.

I love this swim skirt. As a new mom, it’s so hard to find bottoms for swimsuits that fit me right, especially in the tummy area. I was surprised to see how cute skirt was on me, and how much it helped tuck in my tummy! It’s so flattering and comfy as well. I will definitely be buying more.

Ok so this was very adorable and very well made. I got the correct size and it did fit, it just didn't fit me the way I wanted it too. The length was good and I actually hung on to it to be sure I'd find another one to replace it before I let it go. The waist was a tad loose, in through, the rear my abdomen were perfect. Sizing down would not work. The skirt part seemed to split wrong on me. I gave it 4 stars because it was very well made. Some things can be the right size just not fit me correctly. I did end up returning it. Swim suits are always a chance when you buy them without trying them on. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. It is not long and not so short. It was the perfect thickness. My abdomen felt supported but not heavy dry and I didn't think while if it was wet it would be an issue. It should dry pretty fast. Other than my odd figure it felt like it held the abdominal area rather firm. I really wanted it to work. I was hoping the swim top I bought would compensated for the slightly lose waist but I did not have that feel. That being said my husband did not notice this one I returned for the one I actually bought. It may be my OCD. I just wanted it more proportioned for my body. I do have a very short waist and my abdominal area needs work from 2 c-sections. My stomach looks fine, hips are good this held in my abs but just too lose above the waist or above my hips/belly button area. Everything fits sorta high on me. It doesn't help only being 5'1 1/5...

I am just going to cut to the chase: I've got some junk in my trunk 😂. Bathing suits have always been a problem for me. Regular bikini bottoms look like thongs on me, and swim shorts still leave my cheeks exposed, unless I buy ones so big that they start to fall off while I'm swimming. I also have some swelling in my legs, which tends to make me look chubbier than I am. For these reasons, I really wasn't looking forward to trying on new bathing suit bottoms. That's always the surest way to low self-esteem, in my world.I was sure that these would make my thighs look fat, or be too short to cover my butt... Or cut to just below my little belly bulge, making it look that much bulgier than usual. I had the tissues standing by, ready to mop up my tears. Still, I really needed new bottoms, and these seemed more promising then most. I figured they'd be better than some, but I have never found a bathing suit that made me feel good about my list half, so that's the best I could expect.So imagine my surprise when I slid these on and discovered that they're actually FLATTERING. For the first time since I hit puberty, I think I'll be able to swim without constantly tugging the bottom of my suit down. These completely cover that badonkadonk of mine, and they fall to the right place on my thigh to actually slim my legs! So that just left one more problem area: would they cover the dreaded belly bulge? I'm happy to report, they don't just cover the bulge; they help to control it.And the best part: I walked around in these for an hour, and never once had a wedgie. I didn't feel I had to pull them down in back even once. I bought the black because they would match more, but now I'm seriously considering buying these in more colors.I followed the sizing chart when ordering, and am happy to say that it is accurate. I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. I think I'll be wearing these for years.Now, here's hoping the beaches open this summer so I can actually swim!

This is a very cute and well made skort. For me it is too long and too full for swimming - I believe it will float up around your waist in the water. For this reason I am returning. If you want a great skort this is a good buy .
