A great hybrid!
I've been a Pac-Man and Monopoly fan for decades. I've played numerous versions of both, more than I can count. I wasn't sure what to expect from this hybrid, but Hasbro's designers somehow came up with something new, yet with echoes of both of these long-lived games. And it's fun! It's not Pac-Man, not even close, but it has elements of Pac-Man. It doesn't play exactly like Monopoly, but it feels like Monopoly. And let me be clear: It's not just a redecorated Monopoly board, like some of the other licensed or knock-off versions of Monopoly; this is a redesigned game with similar elements but its own unique rules. Don't come at it thinking it's traditional Monopoly under a new coat of paint, you'll have to play a few times to adapt to the new game structure. We've had it for a week and have played it at least seven times. It's a hit in our house.

No that easy to use, but fun
The first thing I have to say is that this has more of Pacman than of Monopoly. The objective of the game is not becoming a monopoly. Actually, you may even "buy" all the slots and not win the game. That being said, Playing around with the arcade is fun, and the game lasts a lot less than regular Monopoly, though more than an hour for sure. The mini arcade machine is fun to play with, but the joystick is hard to handle. Also, to remove the batteries, you need to unscrew a lid, which is inconvenient if you plan to store it for some time and don't want them drained (which will happen, although at a slow rate). AT the beginning you have to check the reference card frequently, but once you catch it, it works pretty well. All in all, I recommend it.

Makes a great gift.
I was very happy with shipping. No damaged parts. Understanding how to play the pac man machine for banking was a little difficult, but once I understand it made sense. I love playing pac man to get points when you pass go. It's only unfair for those who are not left handed. The joy stick is on the left. It's a great Monopoly. Very fun.

Fun
This was a gift to my dad. He used to collect monopoly, then lost all of his games. So I bought him this. I went to visit him and we played.

Lots Of Fun And Made Very Well!
This was a gift for my daughters birthday. Best decision I made. It's such a fun retro themed game. Great for adults and kids. It's simple to learn. Made very very well. Overall a fantastic family game!!

Ok but Not a favorite
This game is ok, but not a favorite. The board is smaller than regular monopoly. The little pacman game is hard to see unless you are in the perfect lighting and is Loud - there is no volume adjustment. The game ends once all of the properties have been bought. There's no houses and hotels and no trading/buying properties from other people. It could be a good introduction to Monopoly for a younger person, though. You do not want to play this version with someone who cheats - each person is in charge of using the arcade game to buy, sell, pay rent, etc.
