Very cute. Holds one stick which is fine with me. But I know some were looking for a bigger dish. If you're looking for a two stick holder this one ain't it chief. However, if you love whales and a hefty dish, then get this one. It's got a lovely feel and look to it.

It’s very high quality! My cat dropped it from the counter and it did chip the fin, but that’s on me since the material is super heavy. It’s easy to clean, it’s cute and it works for the job.

It is ridiculously cute on the counter and everyone comments on it. It makes me happy to see and keeps the cat (who is NOT allowed on the counter) from licking the butter.

Larger than I anticipated, easily holds 2 sticks side by side. Very cute- style & color as shown.

I think thw whale is a lot more fun than a plain butter dish. It looks cute on the counter and when we have guests over they get a kick out of it

I was looking for a nice butter dish to bring some color to my counter top. This adds not only a nice navy pop of color; it adds character too! It's easy to use with the tail handle, holds a whole stick of butter and keeps the butter at just the right spreading temperature. It's been easy to clean and has so far held up to my 2 and 3 year olds trying to play with it. I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again if needed.
