Knowing some of the details discussed in this book made of very interesting to learn more in great detail. Having some close relationships in the Houston city government only makes my disdain for the leadership stronger after reading this book. Great job Chris and thank you for your service!

This is one of the best book I have read. The dedication to all of the separate investigations was outstanding.

A must read for those who love real crime stories. It is a testament to the hard work police officers put in day after day to keep everyone else safe. It also highlights the truly ghoulish nature of the politician police executives in charge of one of the largest police departments in the country and how they care more about the safety and well -being of violent criminals than innocent people or the officers in their own agency.

Excellent read! He hits the nail on how incompetent officers reach top management based on the color of their skin, gender, religious beliefs and not by their capabilities.

The police officers in this are unsung heroes. So many of the civilian population has no idea what day-by-day operations they have to go through. My hat is off to all those officers who participated in the sting in Houston. It is a riveting account of stopping the “bad guys “There should NOT be any defunding of police — anywhere in our country — PERIOD!!!

This is an excellent book in the working of an criminal group. The author does an excellent job at describing and telling of the trade craft of a criminal gang that specialized in the robbery of Armour Vehicles. Every Police Officer should have this book in their library. I learned a lot of new tactics from this book.

Absolutely loved this book. An in depth look at the inner workings of a big city police department and how hard these dedicated officers work every day to protect us while often putting their own lives at risk. The politics of the department leaders was a real eye opener to me.This is a must read for all!!
