I am an aspiring digital artist and bought this book as I found the movie to have a highly distinctive art direction.It covers various aspects of making the movie such as storyboarding, character ref sheets, a metric ton of concept art for Mebh as well as large spreads showing off layouts of the city. it's pretty detailed compared to other books of this type and gets a warm recommend from me.

Bought this for our artist daughter who loves all things Cartoon Saloon. She loves it! Beautifully done. Very nice book.

For anyone who loves Cartoon Saloon, Wolfwalkers, or animation in general, this book is absolutely brimming with fascinating details about the creative process (as well as brimming with beautiful illustrations) that you’ll spend hours combing over. Essential reading for fans of the movie or the studio!

Absolutely loved this movie. I'm a huge fan of Cartoon Saloon films so I knew I'd love this one too. What I didn't expect was the art of book to be even more impressive. The sheer amount of artwork in this book is stunning. I highly recommend it especially if you are an animation buff.

Beautifully illustrated and written

Absolutely adore this book. It goes in depth over each part of the animation pipeline from start to finish. I especially love the rough storyboards shown in the book also alongside the script. I always appreciate to see process work in art books. Gorgeous illustrations on every page, so inspirational and there is so much to learn from each one. I especially love the attention to detail where beside each illustration is the artist's name (as usual) but then has a sentence or 2 to explain the meaning behind each piece or what they are trying to express through the illustration. Love the ratio of illustrations vs. text (I like when there is not too much but also not too little of text in art books where they explain/give insight on their work)I recommend this to everyone who is a fan of the film but also artists and those that collect animation artbooks.
