Wow!!! Brings a professional look to on-line teaching!
Right out of the box, this stand's quality was impressive. As soon as I attached a webcam, it was clear that this stand was going to make a big difference in conducting classes for adult learners. Easy to use, easy to adjust to the "just right" position, easy to use all the way around. Particularly pleased with how the adjusting knobs can hold the arms in place. Have only used it with a webcam, so don't know how it would work with a heavier camera. No way am I going back to using my computer's built-in camera (have to look up at it). This stand lets me set the webcam at my eye level, resulting in a professional presentation. Still can't get over how low is the price for something that takes my classes from amateur to looking professional.

The stand is excellent
I needed and extra camera for hybrid yoga classes, and I needed this camera to be able to be positioned in a variety of ways. This camera stand is wonderfully versatile. It can be place on a table or a shelf, and then maneuvered into a wide variety of positions. I can toggle between two screens on zoom, one which shows me up close, and one which shows the students physically present in class, so that those joining by zoom can have more of a classroom experience. Very happy with it.(By the way, when I was asked to review this item, I was asked about camera quality -- this item does not come with a camera.)

Budget-friendly eye-level Solution for more professional video calls
When I started working from home more frequently, I became obsessed with improving my video call setup. My Brio 4K webcam was great, but I needed a way to position it at eye level—rather than on top of a display—for a more natural, professional look that doesn't make me look like a munchkin who can't make eye contact. The OXENDURE Webcam Stand solved my camera positioning challenge.Pros:The first thing that struck me was the accessible price point. For anyone looking to upgrade their video call setup without breaking the bank, this stand is great. Assembly was easy – I had it set up in minutes, and when I need to travel, disassembling it is just as simple. The universal 1/4" screw mount is a huge plus, making it compatible not just with my webcam, but potentially with lights and other camera equipment I might want to use in the future.Cons:It's not without its quirks. The joints are quite stiff, which means you may need to put in some effort to adjust positioning. While the articulating arms offer great flexibility, they're thick enough that they might partially block your display depending on how you set them up. My biggest concern is the base connection – the armature can potentially slip out if you're using a heavier camera, especially given its relatively low load capacity of just 1.76 pounds. So keep that in mind.Final Thoughts:Despite a few minor drawbacks, the OXENDURE Webcam Stand has been a solid investment for improving my video call setup. It successfully solved my primary goal of positioning my Brio 4K webcam at eye height. If you're willing to work with its slight limitations, it's a great budget-friendly solution for anyone looking to elevate their webcam positioning (pun intended).

Just what I needed!!!
It seems someone read my thoughts on what I needed and made this. Sturdy yet very light and agile. I can easily move it around and with screw knobs, hold it at the position I need to. Holds my webcam perfectly; I can change up the angle of the camera when I need. Assembly was a breeze- out of the box to up and working in no time. I definitely recommend this product. This is not paid review.

Base is too light-weight.
This would've been a great stand for a webcam; however, it can't exactly hold up a Logitech C920 webcam without it tipping over or feeling like it's not balancing well. The actual scissor arm is not actually welded or attached to the base, so if you will have to lift up the whole thing by the base if you wanted to move it around. Don't risk holding it by the scissor arm because it's not attached. It is made out of good material, but while extended, it won't be able to hold anything that is heavier than your standard webcam. If I had to recommend a price of what I'd pay for it, I'd say no more than $15.I did take the screws off of the bottom of the base and can say it's weight is made out of cement. The cement was still slightly damp in mine. I was going to find another way around the light-weight bottom by adding sinkers to it. I have decided to return it and get a different stand instead... One that just clamps on the desk. :)

Exactly the right size to position the camera for Zoom meetings.
I wanted this stand to position my HD Logitech camera perfectly for Zoom presentations and meetings. My concern was that the swingarm might not be the right size, sturdy enough, or that it might not hold its position when in use. My conclusion...1. The swingarm is the perfect size for my large monitor setup. Not too small or big. Perfect.2. The swingarm quality/durability is exactly what I wanted.3. The swingarm holds its position steady - because each joint can be tightened into place with nobs located at each joint.4. But - for extra credit - could it hold my iPhone? Yes, the swingarm itself is stable enough to hold my iPhone - because of the tightening nobs. This is an additional function I had hoped to use the stand for. However: While the stand is quite well built - the base is just heavy enough to support a small HD camera - if the swingarm is extended far to the side - at an angle (not vertically over the base - but off to the side of the base). This means for most swingarm positions - an iPhone would be too heavy - and cause the stand to tip over. One would have to add weight to the base. I happened to have the perfect 2.5lb barbell plate to do this. And preferring form over function - I am very happy with the result. So if you had the same concerns as I did - I hope you found this review helpful.
