I installed this shelving system in our garage on a concrete block wall with tapcons. There are 4 x 16' 3/4" plywood shelves. The system is great quality and very sturdy.

This bracket was so important to me. Home Depot and Lowe’s were out and I needed one more! The John Sterling Heavyweight Diamond plate steel shelving system is the strongest and most quality track shelving system ever devised to be within the means of residential consumers in garage and shop/shed use. Everything else is a waste of time. Forget Rubbermaid and Closetmaid shelving. Those are for clothes and light duty applications. John Sterling is the way. For it is written. I anchored the tracks in studs with 3.5” screws (tracks are a separate purchase), and the bracket in this review (along with its twin) to hold a shelf made from a 2x12 which has 2 5-gallon fuel cans and some other big and heavy items on it across a 4 foot total length. Just remember to secure the shelf with screws from the holes underneath the bracket. That shelf won’t budge.

I put up a set of shelves in my garage with these, loaded them down with lots of lumber. They have held the load and stayed rust-free.

I was buying these from the hardware store, but they stopped stocking more than 2 at a time. I have used both the 10 and 14 inch versions and they're both strong. These include two screws to keep the shelf secure on the bracket.
