After performing the initial 3 hour charge per the instructions, I set the Dyson V10 speed to MAX without the motorized head, and ran it continuously for 5:45 minutes. It shut off and flashed red lights to indicate it had reached max temperature for the batteries (safety feature). After it cooled down a few minutes, I ran it for another 23 seconds before the charge was depleted. The original Dyson battery ($129) is rated to run only 5 minutes on MAX speed per charge on the Dyson site, but with the new DSANKE battery, I got over 6 minutes. I noticed that the battery pack is a about an inch longer on the back end, which does not affect how it sits perfectly in the Dyson wall mount charging dock. I am guessing that there might be an additional cell in this replacement battery pak. I am very pleased with the initial performance and price of this replacement battery. Tip... to prolong the life of the battery, it is recommended to let the vacuum and battery cool down before putting it back on the charging dock. Thank you!

Our vacuum started to cut out after just several minutes of use. We replaced it with this battery and everything seems to be working fine. That was just a couple of weeks ago, so I cannot comment on the longevity other than it seems to have plenty of life when used around our home. As for how long the battery last over the years...get back to me a couple of years from now.

The battery does not recharge the second time. The return time limit was too short, that we couldn't ask for one despite the faulty product. Ultimately was able to use the battery once, and wasn't able to use it again. extremly frustrating given it's price tag. Very dissappointed in the product.

I didn't want to pay over $100 for a new battery for my Dyson V10 motorhead, so I checked into the generic brands. I read the reviews on this one and decided what the heck, it's a lot less than Dyson.I received mine in a timely manner and proceeded to install and put it on the charger (I noticed it was somewhat charged when I received it). I decided to test it out once each day using the 3 different speeds.Day One: Put on MAX. Great suction and it lasted for 9 minutes before overheating (the battery was super hot).Day Two: Put on MED (2 dots): Good suction and it lasted for 29 minutes. It did not overheat and the battery was cool to the touch when it stopped.Day Three: Put on LOW (1 dot): Good suction and it lasted for 57 minutes without overheating and, again, the battery was cool to the touch when it stopped.I would seriously disagree with their video that shows "up to 95 minutes Fade Free Power". Mine certainly is nowhere near that. As you can see, I only got 57 minutes. They are saying nearly 50% more than I'm getting. Major disagreement.For the price, it's a good battery, but I am worried about the overheating. Supposedly there is an 18 month warranty and free returns within the first 30 days, but I'm not comfortable with the overheating. I will try one more time on MAX, and if it continues, I will be returning this battery.

I replaced my dead Dyson battery and this replacement lasts longer than the Dyson ever did. Easy to replace. I’ll buy it again when needed!

Get about 2 years out of a battery and this has a bit more juice than original. Easy YouTube replacement tutorial. Make sure of your model before ordering.

I didn’t want to believe the bad reviews on this battery but they are true. Manufacturing issues plague this battery. I literally used this once and charged it once and battery died in less than 3 minutes on low power. Do yourself a favor and buy original. This is going back ASAP.
