It works but has a big flaw
I used this to connect my workstation and office laptop to one monitior and sweitch between them, However, switching is not easy and I have to disconnect one of them for the other one to work, even if the 1st one has been turned off!

WAY TOO SHORT!
This cable may work, it may not - but it's way too short to connect unless the VGA ports in your set-up are bundled ridiculously closely together.I stupidly didn't think to check whether the 0.3m cable would cover the 0.28m gap between my computer's VGA port and the one on my monitor - but it doesn't, because of having to connect the cables at the right angle, which stretches the overall distance out.I got this cable because I needed a VGA-VGA cable, and thought that I might as well get a splitter in case I ever want to add another monitor to my set-up. Even if the distance between the ports on your computer and your monitor is less than mine - and 0.28m really IS a very short distance! - then how you're supposed to get the cable to reach both of your monitors is anyone's guess.Think about it - if you have decently-sized monitors, a combined 0.6m is never going to reach both monitors when it has to bend in the middle to reach the computer. I'm lucky that I've managed to get another cable with different connectors to work; this one was bought as a back-up in case that one was no good. Like I say, the cable is so short that even if you got a VGA extension lead, connecting two monitors would be nigh-on impossible. In future, I'll get a piece of string to replicate where I need my cables to go, and measure the string to make sure that this farcical situation doesn't happen again.
