My Bhagavad Gita Journal: A Daily Journey of Self Discovery

This book talks of that Supreme Being by which this universe is pervaded, but which nothing pervades -- which shining, all this creation shines as its reflection. A most wonderful book with excellent Poetic Translation of the timeless Gita verses.The great thing is that in this book, the original Sanskrit verses and their Transliteration is also given -- which I try to read although I cannot read Sanskrit script. Because the Transliteration is in English, so I can easily read the Sanskrit verses. Sanskrit is very melodious and I often listen to the original Gita verses on you-tube, and through this book, I too am able to read along as I listen to the tranquil verses of Gita.This book is in the Journal format -- allowing you to write your thoughts/ notes. That is the great thing -- that it allows me to write my everyday notes on it. A few years from now, I am sure I would love to read my notes from before. This is easily the most useful edition of Gita.Some days when I do not write my thoughts, I just do the likhita Japa of my favorite Mantra on the pages. There are dotted lines which allow me to write/draw  what I wish on the pages. I have begun to read this daily and every time I read it I learn something new and grow both mentally and spiritually. The concepts are definitely timeless as the truths can be directly applied to solving present day issues. It is authentic -- an experience which will transforms your life and helps you understand the true meaning of things in these perplexing times. It has a simple beautiful language that revives your soul. Enlightening and guiding!This edition is a ‘Must Have’ in your collection. I have a couple other editions of Gita, but this is by far the most useful -- with beautiful translation. The book contains timeless truths, especially in light of today's ills. I can read this book over and over, year after year, and still gain so much from it.One more point -- the good thing is that you are not confined to a particular calendar year and can use the book year after year because though each page has a date and there are 365 pages, yet because the name of the day (like Sunday, monday) is not mentioned on the page, so you can use the Journal in any year. There is a year at a glance from 2020-2025 towards the end, so you can find which day is today by referring to it.

The media could not be loaded.  OMG Finally someone thought of this. Ive been studying the Gita for years and had to take notes within the book or in a seperate notebook. It was so frustrating. When I saw how Bible journaling has evolved I used to think why am I not able to express.my creativity in Gita where can I buy a Gita journal where I can take notes draw etc. FINALLY! Paper quality is good amazing size perfect for me very happy..lovely

I have always been intrigued by my friends doing bible journaling and this came at a great time when I joined a BG class and so the verses made more sense and resonated within me.The book is no fuss and simple and provides ample space to document our thoughts and lessons. One thing is I wish the papers were a little thicker variety

Just saw video review from makeupminimalist about this book . Much impressed and inspired by her journaling. The video quality is rather grainy. Can makeupminimalist please upload a better quality/ more detailed reviews so as to inspire others.
