I finally understand the hype about these Cerave products! This was my first time using a Cerave product and I was looking for something to cleanse and remove my makeup and this has been so great. I used to use expensive Sephora cleansers and makeup removers but this is much more financially sustainable! It does the job and doesn’t break the bank. It’s pretty much scentless which I like because I’ve been turned off from products in the past if I didn’t enjoy the scent. This is part of my skincare regimen which I include as part of my self-care. It doesn’t leave my face feeling dry afterwards but I also combine this with the Cerave moisturizer which makes it even better. I just feel so clean and will most definitely be continuing to use this product! Oh and my husband started using it too and he loves it!

Does not remove waterproof mascara completely without some help from my fingernails or an extra makeup remover. Removes regular mascara and sunscreen (chemical and mineral). Does not leave my face feeling quite as hydrated as i expected, but not too dry either. It is a nice one-step cleanser that negates using both an oil based cleanser and a water based cleanser, which is what I was looking for. I almost always wash twice with it anyway to make sure everything is off. I will use the rest of the bottle, but may not repurchase. I have been using the Garnier cleansing balm as a one-step night cleanser instead, and it seems to have more removing power while still being a one and done cleanser and leaving my face both clean and hydrated (still need moisturizer after of course).
