These are great quality for the price and cut way better than my old ones.

I got my first set about 2 years ago to cut out tennis string quickly from racquets and it worked as needed. They were very sharp and operated smoothly. The clippers were used to cut some low gauge wire and they’re not made for that so it affected how well they cut tennis string. I ordered a new pair. This is where it gets weird. The new ones arrived taped to a piece of cardboard that left a residue on the grips I had to het off with a combo of wd-40 and Dawn. But they otherwise seemed like the same high quality as the first set so I decided to keep them. Notice that the piece of cardboard was branded as IGAN. That’s when I noticed that the new pair had etching that read IGANCE. Altogether, I’m not sure if this is just a factory error or an indication I got a counterfeit item. All other markings appear correct and the new pair feel, look and operate like the old pair. So for now, four stars.

True flush-cuts. I use them to trim ends on zip ties, mainly on my boat, but I have a pair in my shop, too. If you use standard diagonal cutters, it leaves a nasty sharp plastic edge that will later bite you or someone else. These cut nice and flush, keeping the wires tidy and the wire ties safe. They are also great for snipping old zip ties off. Great value, too.

Used diagonal wire cutters since a kid in 1960s building amateur radio transmission equipment. Then in Air Force for navigational radio transmission equipment maintenance. And now for home DIY projects. Recently lost favorite diagonals that still used extensively. Researched good replacement. Ordered IGAN-P6 due to spring loaded handles. Realized it would be great for low voltage wires. Concerned that it might not be strong enough for #14 & #12 electrical wires. Bought a pair of larger diagonals for larger wires. When IGAN-P6 arrived was very impressed with its strength for larger wires & spring handle action. My collection of diagonals & lineman's pliers picture shows the IGAN-P6 in center. Do not really need the other larger diagonals. The IGAN-P6 is a great wire cutter that I expect to use for a long time.

Bought these to cut aluminum wire. They are not made for steel wire and it's stated on the packaging. I must say I was impressed with the cut. Didn't pinch the wire nearly as much. They feel strong and sturdy but, not sure how the longevity of the blade will be. I make my own jump rings for chainmail and make a lot of them. I also have separate cutters for each type of metal so, I feel like they will last for quite some time. So far, I feel like it was a good purchase.
