The Monk

Really enjoyed the book Monk. It kept me entertained and had good laugh with the story. Very well written and amazed by how the story written had been put together. would highly recommend this to anyone but to those who like gothic style reads.

My daughter is doing English literature that is why I bought the book for her A levels. She really liked reading this book

Truly excellent. It should be better known. It has nothing to envy such books as Frankenstein or Dracula. Honestly, if you have read either of those books and wish there were more gothic novels in the style of those two, look no further. I wish I could have studied THIS for my GCSE.

One of the best gothic novels I have read. It contains several horrific events which chills you to the bones. Engaging characters, exciting story and very (very!) explicit descriptions. Worth reading!

Ridiculous story.In bad taste. All the drama surrounding this tale is unfounded.
