This seems like a great product in theory; a quick set up beach tent with 4 zippable doors with mesh nets that can be fully closed to keep out the sun or the elements. It’s a good height so you can sit in it comfortably on a normal sized beach chair and it packs down relatively small for transport.However unfortunately the quality is not up to scratch. We found that some of the seems hasn’t been sown properly, and the plastic floor is quite thin and can easily tear. Lastly the plastic which holds the flexible joints of the poles together is brittle and weak meaning that two of them snapped the first time we used it, so we had to return it.This should be a great beach tent, but for this price it needs to be better made and use higher quality materials

Loved the compact construction of this nice quality tent and the ease of put up and take down. It also fitted nicely in a duffle type suitcase, as it folds more compact (70cm) than other beach tents of its kind. It is excellent in every way, HOWEVER, although it boasts certified 80UV protection, when erected and tested in the sunlight, its ability to block out the UPF sunrays was clearly less than a cheap beach tent I had previously bought from Lidl for £10 and one could instantly feel the heat through the material of the SunSnapper. Therefore, it was returned.Instead, I purchased the Terra Nation Reka Kohu, which although slightly longer in length (80cm) and a challenge to fit in my suitcase, on test it was infinitely better at blocking out the sun and its harmful rays, due to its silver coating polyester fabric.If the SunSnapper had had the same material to block out the sun as the Terra Nation, I would have been delighted with it as it was perfect in every other way. Manufacturer, please think about coating it like the Terra Nation Reka Kohu.Hope this helps other buyers looking for sun protection - if you are not too worried about sun protection, heat transference etc, then the Sunsnapper is excellent. If like me, you want a tent to offer shade and protection, then the Terra Nation fits the bill.
