Watch out for that tree- George
We set up this up and it took a bit, we had three people though. i am sure if there were more people helping it wouldn't have been as difficult. I'd suggest actually listening to the 6% grade advice, we put ours at about a 15% and they made me be the first to try it "this was your idea and you're least valuable to the farm.." or something ;) . I almost said no to the safety belt, glad I didn't and id say always use it as well. I went full speed, the handle flew off and then i was somehow dangling in the air from my safety belt lol. Our error there.. we fixed the grade and instead of standing, I sat on the chair (because it dips and bounces more when you stand). Depending on the persons weight you will pick up more speed. My husband went next and slammed full force into the tree (see video), thankfully he had his feet up to stop him haha, but I did find out he screams like a girl. Anyways, the spring may not have been enough for him and the increased grade Its been sturdy and really fun for us and the kids to enjoy. Following directions helps. We are happy with it. As long as you get the set up and grade right it can be however fast or safe you want it. Only thing I may add or change is getting another seat and ensuring handles are secured.

great birthday gift for my son!
After several hours of internet research and comparison, we bought this zip line kit for my son as a birthday gift! This zipper line set provides all the products what I need and provides safety to my little son! My son likes the green outer packaging. He said this was the best birthday present he has received. I have read the instructions carefully before installation it, the instructions clearly told us how to accurate and fast install! First, I took out the cable (80 feet) which was very heavy. Frankly, if there is an adult to help you assemble, it will be great. It can be installed within an hours for an adult. Before winding the tree, please load the steel spring brake system (The rubber plug has a built-in high-quality iron tube, which can prevent the the plug to break, so don't worry about breakage)! ! After winding the tree according to the instructions, take out the trolly (the quality of the trolly is very good). The trolly has a non-slip soft grip handle and a user-friendly design. It can be installed on the cable stably by opening from the bottom. Finally take out the lock (With CE-certified) connect the trolly, install the seat, which thick and safe, and the installation is complete! I did the first test myself, 210lbs. I took out the seat belt by climbing the ladder of the first tree, tied the waist, and used the lock to buckle the connecting rope, the connecting rope has holes to choose, you can easy adjustment, humanized design. And then seat on the green swing seat. Pull down the brake cable within a few seconds, and then the brake bounces back! Very exciting! It is really awesome, I highly recommend this price! ! My son invited his little neighbor to enjoy with him. So great birthday gift. I strongly promote this product!

Sturdy Quality Zip Line
We’re really happy with this DIY zip line setup. It was actually longer than we expected, which ended up being a great surprise and made the ride even more fun for the kids. We opted for the upgraded version with the come-along, and I’m really glad we did—it made the setup process much easier and helped get the right tension without too much guesswork. Installation does take a bit of effort, but once it’s up, it feels sturdy and well put together. My kids have had a ton of fun on it and keep going back to it, which says everything. I also appreciate that it feels relatively safe when set up properly. Of course, supervision is key, but the components themselves seem solid and reliable. Overall, this has been a great addition to our yard—fun, a little adventurous, and definitely worth it for the price.

Overall, it's a good product but if you're not handy you won't be able to install this by yourself.
Overall, it's a good product but if you're not handy you won't be able to install this by yourself. It works as it should but the installation instructions are terrible and the cable design could be better to make it easier to install. I got the 180' kit and that length of cable was really heavy and difficult to tighten. I had to buy a come-along to help tension it. I also had to add a 2nd turnbuckle on the other end (it only comes with one). This helped a lot as it added more capability to adjust the tension after some use. The cable will stretch over uses and requires tensioning.

Good product
We bought the 100 ft one, but ended up making a 75' run based on how the trees are in my backyard. Regardless, it is pretty good and sturdy. I am 180 lbs and tried it multiple times before handing it over to the kids. The installation instructions could be better - I had previous experience installing zipline so it was not that hard for me, but for newcomers, it will be trial and error :) Look up some YouTube videos before you set it up.

Zipline kit review from NC
We looked at numerous zipline kits over a 6 month period and after reading reviews and prices, chose this kit. It went up easily and like most, took a bit of "test then adjust" rides to finally get it tight and adjusted properly. Like all ziplines, you need to understand some basic physics to get the angle correct and to have a proper ending speed so that riders don't get hurt. What sold me on the kit were the components. I wanted a harness, seat, brake and all the hardware plus a factory grommet eye on one end of the wire. Look around for the pieces in a kit that you want and need to make your install easier. This one gives you everything you need for installation and rider safety. The safety harness in the kit is what drew my attention as I wouldn't let my kids ride without one. Most kits don't have a safety harness or just offer the belt style. This is a climbing harness that you'd wear at commercial ziplines and fits everyone in my family from me to my 8 year old daughter. My son actually slipped off the seat last week and was caught by the harness, so you definitely can see the need if you have an elevated zipline! Our zipline is about 11 feet off the ground at the first platform and just under 8 feet at the landing, all while traveling a 4% natural down grade. The spring brake works, but if you don't properly adjust your angles, it still can be a jolt at the end. All in all, this kit is great for the price point. Home installers just need to do some basic research on proper installation before blaming the kit, as there is nothing wrong with the kit. My 10 and 8 year old love the finished product and my wife and I both ride it too. I weigh 160lbs and have no issues with sag. Just keep in mind that sag at any length will occur with all riders and is expected. After all, this isn't a commercial product so don't expect it to look like what you see at zipline parks. Our total run is just under 90'. I was concerned when I ordered that I would end up short on wire, but to my surprise the wire fit fine and I had about 5 feet of slack after proper tensioning. I'm pretty capable with tools at home and found some tricks with a $10 Harbor Freight come-along to tension the wire. No need to buy something fancy when a little creativity gets the job done. We highly recommend this zipline kit!

Eeeeeeek poor quality cable sags way too much making you have to put way too high.
This is our 2nd zip line and the quality is not good and it doesn’t give you enough cord to do the full feet advertised. My distance was 140-145 and the 150 wasn’t enough with the major sagging I would have needed at least 15 feet more. Most companies give you an extra 10 feet to make sure you have plenty to go around the tree. Our other zip line is Slackers brand and that was a piece of cake. I even moved that zip line to see if this cable was sagging way more. You can’t tell in the picture the difference but we used a come along to put this one on and the other by basic hand tools. And the Slacker brand hardly sagged at all just like the first time we installed it over 5 years ago. It’s the white swing one in pic. What that means if I wanted the same clearance from ground, I would have had this 15-20 feet off the ground and I don’t want to build that platform unnecessarily. My slacker brand I could put 10 feet lower bc it hardly sags and that feels safer and a lot a lot less work. We also have slack lines and a tree house with bridges using similar cable so I learned a lot about the materials. We spent at least 15 hours trying to make it work but this high doesn’t feel safe when I already see a post with a picture of the clamping failure. Tree House Supply in Pennsylvania also sells another good brand. I used their book to build the tree house.

Well worth the money!
This is such an awesome idea for our grandkids! Hours of fun and we even hooked up their old toddler little tikes swings to it since one is only 2 years old! Definitely a great buy. Easy to put up and loads of fun! Once they are older we are going to make it longer.
