Three Sisters Barbara's Puffins Cereal (Gluten Free/Non-Gmo/6g Protein), Protein Berry Burst, 4 Count, Pack Of 8

If you've never had Barbara's puffins, this may not be the ideal way to try them, since you'll get 6 boxes for something like 5 dollars a box. Barbara's isn't always easy to find, particularly since they stopped carrying these unflavored ones at the grocery shop I usually rely on.What you get is a relatively unsweetened cereal that everyone in my family seems to like. It's good for kids in that they like the taste, but it doesn't have many added sugars. Sometimes I'll have it, too, and it's really not bad. It tastes a bit oaty with a bit of bran 'flavor.' The cereal has a fair amount of air and is pretty light. If you really want oats and a bit more solidity/density, Barbara's makes another similar cereal called Oat Crunch that's a bit more like something that Quaker would sell.I buy in bulk mostly because of the supply issues I've encountered in my regular grocery stores.

Puffins are hard to find in my area. I like the cereal. But the first try only one box arrived. The second try worked.

I saw 10oz (pack of 6) and thought I would get 6 box of cereal. In case you have the same thought, I hope this review is helpful. I only received one box of cereal for $28 USD.

Good stuff! Not too sweet

I wanted to order Barbaros Puffins, multi-grain, gluten free cereal that I've been using for years, but sadly it was discontinued. This was the closest I could find. It's similar in taste, size and texture, but too much gluten may cause headaches so that's why I prefer the gluten free cereal, but this is second best. The price on-line was much better than in local grocery stores, so I buy them by the carton, 12 boxes in each oder.

Searched several stores and couldn’t find this cereal. My son- in-law loves it and the cereal fits his medical needs, stomach problems, etc. O got these for him and he was thrilled! Since then I have found the cereal in several different stores.

After trying a new diet program, eat protein bars packed with probiotics every two hours, dairy free (almond milk unsweetened), no fruit, and using the programs low carb Cereal, a lean and green meal at lunch and dinner, I discovered this cereal. It’s a healthy alternative to the programs cereal and a lot cheaper too! I lost 12 pounds the first two weeks of the diet-and maintains the weight loss for over a year sticking to certain peers of the diet and even cheating a lot! I’m currently back on the diet program (think bikini) losing s few more pounds and now comfortably fit in my size 4 cloths. This cereal has helped me maintain. When I’m off my diet and just maintaining, I add blueberries to this cereal. Also, my grand loves the cereal too!

Having food allergies I have trouble finding cereal I can eat. This was a huge find for me, or so I thought. The taste is great! Finally real cereal again. No where did it state that there was any Soy in the ingredients (not when I first purchased it in the store) as it's not located on the box where it should be.I found it on Amazon and bought the 12 boxes to save some money. Looking over the listing briefly to make sure it was the same item. When I started having problems I went back to the description on Amazon only to discover the "Important Health Information" listed at the bottom. This should be ON THE BOX!!!! CONTAINS: SOY. It was written small and stated in was "in the corn". Thankfully someone in my family can eat it so the money is not wasted. But very disappointed in this company. They have a wonderful product, but should have listed the allergen information on the box! This is very dangerous!
