This did its job perfectly. I had a small hole in the pool cover; stuck one of these on and now you can't see it at all. It sticks securely and is almost the same color as the cover.

Hello All,I received these March 2023 to repair my above ground pool cover. My cover is the typical green woven mesh type, but was a bit more costly than a typical cheapest cover. When cover developed a few small holes after 3 winters in Great Lakes area, I bought these to try. Prep is the most important thing! I first cleaned both sides of the cover with soap, rinse, dried, then followed with alcohol pads to ensure clean surfaces. I cut large radius (1") rounded corners on the patches with scissors as sharp corners tend to detach. I laid the patch area over a hard surface and applied a patch to the underside AND topside of the cover, being careful to align them carefully. I applied pressure to ensure the adhesive set and carefully rolled up the cover after being sure it was completely dry. I installed the cover last Fall and again this fall, and so far, they are holding up great! Patch is underwater for portions of the winter depending on how particular I am w.r.t. pumping water off the cover periodically. Will order again if another hole appears!

I used these patches on my inground winter cover. I had noticed that we had a hole on the winter cover after we had closed the pool for the season. Rather than order a new cover we just ordered these patches and put on the cover. We were able to get through the entire winter season with these patches. They held up great!

For some reason the pool guy patched only three of five holes on my cover. Given that he won’t be back until next summer, I figured I’d fix the other two myself and went online to find a patch kit. My cover is dark gray and I wondered why he used green. Now I know. Seems the best reviewed patches on Amazon are these and they only come in green. Dark gray or black would have been better but these aren’t too bad, especially if you are only doing small areas.Very easy to cut and adhere very well. They’ve only been on for a few days so I can’t guarantee they will withstand the elements but I feel like they will hold up fine. I only used part of one piece for my two fixes so plenty left over should I have more issues next year.

The pool company installed the cover for winter and didn't bother to notice a small hole, probably from a mouse. They promised to take care of it, but didn't, so of course I came to Amazon and found this repair patch. Fortunately the hole was close to the edge and I didn't need to contemplate how to get to the middle of the cover. I waited for a sunny day to warm the surface of the cover, then applied this, lining up the green and black. It looks good and has held for a few weeks and a lot of rain. We shall see in spring how it is doing, so I can't comment on durability. An inexpensive solution to the problem of a small hole.

They applied easily to my cover. They have good adhesive on them and seem to stick well. I applied to the cover in my driveway and allowed to dry overnight before putting the cover on my pool. I did cut the patches down smaller to the sizes of the holes they were covering. Patches cut easy, seem well made, and adhere well. We shall see if the hold up over the winter.

We were able to peel the back paper off, but it didn't stick on our old & dusty cover (we tried to clean it but I guess the cover was too old) unfortunately. This patch probably works on newer, clean pool covers.
