Savory Saltine Seasoning, 1.4 Ounce (Pack of 2)

Classic original flavor: easy & everyone likes them. Instead of 2-11oz boxes of mini saltines, I prepared this batch with a 21oz family box of Aldi brand cheese-it’s. They are not as absorbent as saltines so I reduced the oil by half (so I used 3/4 cup of oil). This ended up being budget friendly because of less oil used and Aldi mini cheese cracker are much less expensive than the saltines. The cheese crackers go well with the spice mix. Try it!

Super hot and spicy and so easy to make.

I had been at a get-together when I first tasted these snacks, and fell in love with them. I asked the hostess how she made them and she kindly sent me a text with a picture of the seasoning. At the same time I also discovered mini-saltine crackers. This appetizer/snack is so easy to make, and I bought new two-gallon bags on Amazon for tossing the crackers, oil, and spice mix. I had first used a two-gallon bag that I had used numerous times in my freezer for storing various wrapped frozen food items, and unbeknownst to me the bag had a hole in it. What a mess! So if you either do not have this size bag or yours, as mine, has been used at least a few times before making this snack, I strongly recommend getting new bags. I have a sealer, so I store sealed bags of the crackers in my fridge to keep them fresh. My friend said you can also freeze them. They make a lot of snack mix! I hope you enjoy them as much as my friends and family have.

Great product. I prefer using the mini saltines- makes a good snack with slices of cheese. Also like to serve with appetizers for a little spicy touch. Does better if you refrigerate and turn the bag several times to better disttibute the spices over the the crackers

This garden dill cracker mix is just like the original savory mix but with dill weed added. Very tasty and easy to fix. I add the popcorn butter oil instead of the regular oil.
