Works well but I’ve a tip for helping it tighten to the correct level
Love this lens hood. Looks great and provides lots of extra protection. My only issue is that after a few times of attaching and detaching the hood, it no longer tightens at the correct level, leaving it very slightly tilted. It’s so minor but still irritated me. I found a fix though - I attached a small elastic band around where you screw on the hood and it gave just enough extra resistance to tighten at the perfect level every time - definitely recommend doing that if it’s annoying you too

Excellent lens hood for x100VI
I was unsure when buying this lens hood if it would 100% fit the camera as some reviews had said it did not screw in fully. Happy to say that it fits the Fujifilm X100VI perfectly. Excellent colour matching too. I paired it with a B + W UV filter.

Worthwhile addition
Firstly I think this is a tenner overpriced, that said, it’s good quality and looks good on the camera. I read reviews on a few different hoods for the X100V and plumped for this as some reviewers said the X100V lens cap fits on the hood, it does, but not comfortably and at an angle, on mine at least, and I would be concerned about losing the lens cap if I did leave it on the hood as it’s definitely not secure. In short, when using the hood I’d keep the lens cap safely in a pocket and take the hood off and put the cap back on when not using the camera…you may have better luck if you buy one still a decent hood despite this.

Amazing quality and fits perfectly on the X100VI
The only downside of it as that it obstructs a bit of the flash when shooting on close range, but that's not the fault of the manufacturer, there is no way around it unless the shape is changed, but if you take a picture of something/someone far from the camera, there will be no impact.I am yet to try the weather sealing. but it looks all good to me so far.

Stunning little hood!
I’m giving this a 5* review for the product as it is a beautiful and functional accessory for the X100V.Unfortunately the first hood arrived with both rubber rings missing in a box that had obviously been opened raided and returned to Amazon. I’ve returned that one, which will no doubt be sent out to the next unlucky buyer (possibly you). The hood is a two piece affair with a filter adapter that screws on to the X100 lens (remember to remove the original screw on bit of trim). The adapter has a milled gnarled outer ring that looks even better than the the V’s focus ring. The hood part screws on to the filter adapter, with the red rubber ring between them. The rubber ring is essential because it’s the part that allows the hood to set horizontal.A spare rubber ring is also included.I still like the original round lens hood (pictured), but this is a great look too!

Not Compatible with Polarpro x Shortstache Filter :(
Lens hood doesn’t fit on top when the filter is attached to the adapter. I also Broke a fingernail trying to unscrew this from the adapter threading and also damaged the filter - scratching it in a few places. It was an intense operation. Primarily the fault of Polarpro for having this silly serated rotating edge but it was the cheap threading that got the filter stuck. So I do not recommend this lens hood for quality and compatibility.Thankfully Amazon support helped me return and get a refund so that is much appreciated!

It Fits Well On My x100v
I have seen some feedback that the Lens Hood Shade does not fit in a good position and stay in that position on an X100V.I fitted it without a filter and then with a 49mm filter and it tightens correctly and snug.I do wonder if people with ill fitting Lens Hood are using the gasket seals correctly?

Sent back
Hood doesn't sit quite tight enough. There's just enough movement to be frustrating given the price. You need to reseat the gasket to get something close to ideal. I sent it back because for £30 or so it should just be perfect out the box without the need for twiddling around.
