Very good quality

Handle not strait with axe and not durable. Movement and not sharp at all. Steel not bad. But product required lots of improvement before it can be a useful tool. After that price for 72$ looks too high. Where is that old German quality? Only name German left

Don't think I'd buy another OX product. Sounds good, made in Germany and all that, but quality was just average at best. Yellow paint stinks and is unnecessary (never found on high quality axes such as Grandfors Bruk), handle fitting just OK, and the sheath was a joke, some crappy thin vinyl thing that started to fall apart the first week. For about the same money, consider Snow & Nealley, made in the U.S. If you have the extra dough, the Swedish brands have the right vibe and are generally good quality.

While this was the nicest axe I have ever used I was only able to use it for 2 hours. After those 2 hours of constant use I went to pull it out of the wood and the handle came right off the axe head. The handle is just NOT strong enough for any real hatchet work. The only reason I gave the product 2 stars is because I loved the axe head and I will be replacing the handle with hickory. Really wish they just sold the head separate so I could put my own handle in it.

A very good solid handle. I used this to replace an old handle on a carpenters axe and it has performed brilliant. A nice grain of hickory at a great price.

Man muss auch mal Glück haben -- auf meinem Garagenfund passte dieser Beilgriff ohne jede Anpassung einfach so drauf. Den Lack habe ich abgemacht, weil ich geöltes Holz lieber habe. Das Beil wird aber wohl eher mit Handschuhen genutzt und dann scheint es mir weitgehend egal. Weil ich mich für einen geflämmten Look entschieden habe, kann man jetzt in den Bildern schön den Maserungsverlauf sehen. Und der lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig: schön gerade, keine in den Griff hinein oder aus ihm heraus laufenden Fasern und Äste, wie auf Kritiken anderer Griffe zu lesen, gibt es keine. Ein Keil aus Buche ist bei dem Eschenstil dabei. Kurzum, ich wüsste nicht, was ich mir mehr wünschen sollte. Von der Dicke auf für sehr große Hände passend, und das ist gut so, denn abraspeln ist immer leichter als zusätzliches Holz auftragen. Würde ich für den Preis jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Das Beil ist einfach super. Ich setze es für Entastungen am liegenden Holz ein und gelegentlich auch für die Gestrüppbeseitigung. Ich habe es auch schon zu Durchtrennen von Wurzeln im Erdreich eingesetzt. Das Beil bleibt scharf. Es liegt super in der Hand, wodurch eine gute Präzision bei der Arbeit erreicht wird. Sollte ich je wieder ein Beil brauchen, werde ich sicherlich wieder nach einem Ochsenkopf Ausschau halten

Por el precio esta muy bien, se nota que es mas resistente que los que suelen llevar de compra cualquier hacha, si que es un poco demasiado grueso y no absorve las vibraciones, eso y que se tiene que lijar porque lleva demasiado barniz, cosa que produce ampollas, pero la madera es muy buena
