The CUCKOO CRP-RT0609FW has completely changed how I cook rice and meals. The twin-pressure feature gave me the ability to pick high or soft pressure depending on what I was making. It doesn't matter if it's fluffy white rice or hearty brown rice, it always comes out nice.The 14 menu options are so convenient; I've made GABA rice, porridge and steamed vegetables. The nonstick inner pot is a huge help when it comes to clean-up, and the Auto Clean is an awesome feature that makes it easy to keep clean without extra effort.I liked the Safe Steam Release safety feature, and the 3-language voice guide in English, Korean, and Chinese is pretty nifty and surprisingly helpful.Overall, this rice cooker is sleek, smart, and affordable. It looks great on your counter and cooks like some high quality, restaurant-quality, worth-every-penny kind-of-machine each time. I would definitely recommend this to anybody that wants dependable, high-tech cooking that is easy and enjoyable!

The media could not be loaded. I originally ordered a different model, but returned it . It made rice just fine but it was very difficult to see the water line marks . They were black on black . This cost a little more but so far so good . I’ve only iced it once . It was delivered just about an hour ago .I used jasmine rice (2 cups ) with the steam function in turbo setting for sticky rice . It didn’t disappoint .When it started steaming , I wasn’t sure I was using it correctly. But I let it do its thing . It told me when the steam started and when it was finished .The sticky rice came out perfectly.Instructions are a bit hard to read . I need readers which i couldn’t find .The language setting was straight forward, however if you don’t do them fast enough in sequence it defaults back to where you originally started .This was only my first try , but so far no complaints

TL;DR: For CRP-RT0609FW only: Step 1: Press [TIME SETTING] for 3 seconds. Step 2: Press [ > ] once. Step 3: Press [HIGH P COOK]. I uploaded an image for clarity.I seen other instructions saying you need to press [Auto Clean] for 3 seconds – that didn't work for me.What did work was to press [Time cook] for 3 seconds, then I got a "0:0" on the screen and pressed [ > ] until hearing "This is English" and then press [High Pressure cooking] to confirm. I give this rice cooker 4 stars only because it's so complicated and they seem not care much about the language.

if you love rice, this is the rice cooker for you. Especially if you like Korean food, Koreans standby their rice cookers as rice is a staple item in their diet. This rice cooker is the bomb.

We had a Cuckoo rice before it was given to my husband from his boss.But we left it to our friend because it was EU Plug. We bought an ordinary rice cooker here but it was far different of what we had before. So my husband ordered this rice cooker. Voila! The taste of the rice is so good ! The rice stays fresh up to 72 hours. Easy to use and clean.Just be careful when you open the lid.Over all, it is excellent and the best rice cooker we ever had!

This barely got out of the box. Even though the cooking pot was only 3 quart, as requested, the machine around it was very heavy and complicated looking. This machine is actually oval, even though the pot is round. So it is not compact and round as the pictures [and videos] suggest. It is 13 lbs, for which I would expect something with a lot more volume. SB
