Great Design... Great Price... NOT PERFECT BUT HARD TO BEAT!!!
Thus far after using it for 3 weeks I'm very satisfied with the Marcy Power Tower. It was not terribly difficult to assemble though if you are woman making this purchase I suggest you get a male friend to help you as the parts are a bit heavy. It's sturdy but a little wobbly and you should expect that for the price. I used a few eye hooks and cable straps along the base to secure it to my floor this eliminating any slippage. The center post gives a little when you pull up but the cable tensioner absorbs the stress well.Another reviewer mentioned that the bolts on the pull-up bar got stripped and I had the same issue with one of the bolts as well. I tightened it as best I could and left it at that. The iron bolts are big so I'm not worried. You will encounter some wobble when doing tricep dips but for me I don't mind as it has made me mindful of achieving proper form and balance. It is no longer an issue at this point. The sit-up bar should've been made with a center bolt to keep it secure because it will slide a little when you stand on it to do knee raises. The push-up bars are great for doing push ups and for standing on when doing dips. No issues there.I'm 6 ft, 225 lbs and man is this thing challenging! I've had noticeable gains in muscle and strength in a short time and the changes in my body are exciting to see. I know I'll be in great shape for my vacation in November. I'll admit there are a few flaws in manufacturing that could be easily resolved but they're not significant enough to keep from making this purchase. The fact that the dip bars fold up and away is huge because many other towers don't have this feature. Without it you'll struggle to avoid hitting the dip supports making pull-ups awkward. It's the number one reason I bought it.Is the Marcy Power Tower perfect? No, but it's well worth the price and overall is well made. It's angled properly according to the human body's design and it easily fits in a corner of a room without taking up much space. For less than $200 bucks it's a no brainer and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I hope this helps.

Versatile home workout equipment
In cyberspace, many options can be found for this type of configuration. I ultimately decided on this one for the following reasons:~Its design enables you to place the equipment into a corner of the room, which is great, because these things could really dominate a smaller room.~The Marcy name is trusted to manufacture reliable and sturdy home gym equipment.~It was reasonably priced. It came shipped in a box that looked like Ikea's engineers had a hand in it, with everything nestled in tightly and securely. The hardware was shrink-wrapped against cardboard and labeled with part numbers. This was a Godsend since the first step of assembly is usually that tortuous ritual of making little piles of each part pulled out of that one bag with everything thrown into it. I assembled it alone, and it was really no problem. Two people would make it REALLY easy. Workouts have not made the bolts work loose or revealed any instability in the Marcy Power Tower. The fact the dip/ab handles can be lifted up out of the way when using the pull up/chin up bar is a nice feature. The padding on the armrests and the foam for the sit-up foot pegs both seem to be able to withstand the test of time. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great product -- just some manufacturing faults
Looks really nice. Fairly sturdy. Assembly was moderately easy, except I had to widen a couple of the holes with a dremel tool as they didn't originally align (that was while loosely putting the parts together -- they simply could not fit together without modification to a couple holes). The logo on the backpad is also very off-center. If if weren't for a few flaws, I'd give five stars.

Awesome
Im so glad I bought this. The corner design is unique and the cable support is a thoughtful stabilization method. Its really tall! I am 5'8 and I can get to the knee raise station easily enough but the pullup bar is almost out of reach. Im not strong enough yet for the dips or pullups but I will get there. I have this on carpet and am 200 lbs and it is plenty steady. There is a little give when you hang on the pullup bars but the style of the supports, size, and price all work for me so I dont fault it that. Infact, considering those things, I am pleasently surprised at the quality and how easy it was to set up.

3 stars is probably generous
I probably wouldn't but this unit again. Looks great but rocks as it's uneven once assembled so I had to shim one of the legs. Not enough separation from pad to body during pull ups. I like the tension cable, gives it some nice instability so you have to control your reps so I do enjoy doing dips on it. Push up handles are too far up the legs. At 6' tall my head hits the sit up pads/main bar. I don't think this unit was very well thought out or thoroughly tested. If you are disciplined in training then you can get your money's worth but I'd get something else if I had to do it all over again.

Very sturdy and well put together
After taking the time to put this together, I am even more impressed by the product. I am a big guy and it fits me well. It took about 30 minutes to put together by myself, but it holds a lot of weight. I am also very tall, and I can still use it for my leg lifts. Pull ups are a different story, but I don't expect the tower to be taller than my outreached arms. It wouldn't fit in my work out room if it did. This is a nice addition to my workout room! Well made and surprisingly sturdy. I would recommend this to anyone interested in such a piece of equipment.

Disappointed with the quality. They don’t even pay attention to what they print
What’s that?? Are you kidding me! I ordered nice quality power tower but received cheap printed at the wrong place logo instead !

Great workout machine for small space
This is a great work out machine for our little apartment. It fits nicely in the corner and the added functionality of being able to lift up the dip bars is great. Some reviewers have indicated theirs does not lift up, but I think that may be due to the over tightening of the bolt that allows it to pivot up and down. So far so good. I am an average size guy and it seems to handle my weight really well.

Good power tower station.
Sturdy as hell, can do chin ups 210 pounds and it doesn't even creak a little, dip bars on the other hand make the tower tip a little to the front when you put your entire weight on them, still usable but be careful if it moves on the floor, go slowly and grab them from the inside. They're perfect to do reverse pushups.Side note, you may want to buy an anti-slip rubber mat to keep it from sliding when you swing on it, and definitely get a pair of cushioned training gloves, my palms are killing me at the moment :(All in all it's excellent quality for the price, easy to assemble, you're gonna need something to tighten the nuts though, it's not included in the box, ratchet, pliers or key wrench, allen keys ARE included.Been 2 days now and i'm glad I have it, no regret so far, it's a must for any home gym, big or small.Kinda tall also, make sure to check the dimensions, I have 8 foot ceiling (96") and I have plenty of space for my head when I do pullups, if you have 7 foot ceiling or lower it probably won't fit.

Fine home power tower, but with issues.
I purchased a few power towers in the last months and this one is probably the best from all. Was a shame to refund it. My particular model came with several defects and cosmetic issues: ripped pad, scratches, paint chips and what the most important general geometry defects. The best results I achieved probably at my 5th reassembly, you can see the level at one of the photos and still tower didn't stand straight.Overall, I would call quality of this product decent, nice pads and material textures. Also the design is nice, this tower can perfectly stand in the corner and at the wall.

Exactly as advertised. Great buy and worth the money!
I do like the sturdiness of the this item as it is well built, o ly it is too tall for smaller people to use properly such as 5'9" and under. Cannot properly reach the top chin up bar without the aid of someone or some thing. The one thing I dislike is that it cannot be adjusted at all for different heights.

Was not expecting such a well built tower...
Very impressed. Bang for buck, would buy this again. The unit is very well built and it's study. Can do pull ups with no problem or fear this unit is going to let me down. I weigh 273lbs and I'm 6'2 and this tower is perfect for my build. The unit weighs 88lbs. Easy to assemble. Looks great. Works great. Shipping was fast. Buy it!

Gets the job done
Great product very sturdy and easy to assemble. I would like more grip option for the pull up bar and it is a bit wobbly. Maybe if some floor grips or caps for the bottom portion was included that would fix this issue.
