Sturdy enough for most uses; nice build quality
These are very good garden stakes provided you take care when putting them in the ground. If you try to pound it in as-is, it will probably bend (especially in hard ground). But, if you drill a hole for it that's just a hair less than the pole diameter (use an old drill bit since the bit will get ruined for woodworking when you hit the inevitable rock) and then tap it in with a rubber mallet, it will hold firm and be up to the task of supporting a plant. The build quality is very good -- better than other similar poles I've seen. Both ends are capped, with one end pointed. The covering is nicely thick and provides excellent protection for the hollow metal core. They are not indestructible, but with reasonable care they will last for years.Very good performance and a good value. Five stars.

Great product
Worked fine. Sturdy just like the stores. Cheaper than buying individually.Update 7/22/2023 they've been in the ground less than a month. Two have bent. Mind you they are supporting 2 heavy tomato plants. However I did not think they would bend as they did. Tomato variety is German Johnson and Amish Paste, if that helps... wound up using the metal stakes from one of those plastic greenhouses from Amazon that the plastic cover went to crud to help support the tomato plants. They are all working fine otherwise. Would still buy again.

Perfect stake for my gardening
We've been using these type of stakes for our tomatoes, peppers, or whatever we want to keep standing through the windy weather we get here. These particular stakes have become the ones I go to first. They have a better point to go into the ground and a top that is sturdy enough to give a light tap on if you need to drive them in.You have to push them in from closer to the bottom of the stake to prevent bending it but no big deal. Remember, these aren't solid steel so you have to be smart when pushing them in. I haven't found any that are sturdier than these. I'm very happy with them and these are my second order of them. I highly recommend them!!

Sturdy
Hands down, this was the best money spent on our garden this summer. These supports can hold some serious vegetable weight without bending. They have nice tips on them for ease of inserting into the ground. I definitely see them lasting multiple seasons:)

Essential gardening tool
These stakes are sturdy and well made. I needed something more heavy duty to hold up my gladiolus and I have many. I tried other types but these were much taller than standard and I am very happy I opted for the larger size as my flowers have now grown to be taller than me! I also bout the plastic clips. I know you can use string or other ties but the clips are quick and easy and loop well around the stakes. Will definitely be continuing to use these in the future
