Honestly surprised by how good this is for the money. Arrived two days ahead of schedule, packaged in a sturdy box with bucket loads of padding and additional inserts on the corners to stop it getting bashed about in transit. All panels were immaculate on opening, and the delivery guy wasn't exactly delicate with it. Absolute doddle to put together, I needed a decent Phillips screwdriver. That's it. Even if some holes weren't fully drilled out, a bit of elbow grease and they go in as it's supplied with self-tapping screws. All the hardware is individually bagged and labelled, the panels are numbered and the instructions are decent. There is one error in the placement of a catch for the lock, but if you apply common sense this shouldn't be an issue. Those that appear to have struggled with the lock need to hand back their man card and Fisher Price tool sets. The "lock doesn't work/gap too big" issue is as simple as adjusting the hinges. They can be moved using the two screws located on them. It's not quantum physics. But I guess it's easier to moan in a review than figure it out. And if it isn't sturdy, it's because you couldn't be bothered to apply to white tabs on the back. They're structural. So it doesn't function correctly because you're incapable of following instructions. Not because of the quality. Ask a grown up for help next time.

It’s lovely. Heavy , finish just great. Storage capacity very adequate. Definitely value for money. You must not put the screws inn for the hinge in off centre . They must be absolutely square to the holes. Other wise door adjument. Still locks function but not a perfect finish. Should had a cup Of tea and think before screwing then in!!!!

perfect size to sit at the foot of my bed, it currently has all my drafting tools i used before CAD came to the fore, plus several volumes of short stories i have written, which i loan some out to frienfds.

The cabinet is very good quality and it's very heavy. It's very easy to put it together as I managed to do it all by myself, the only problem I had was the handles were to big to fit in the pre-drilled holes and they also snapped in half as they were only cheap plastic, luckily I had spare handles from a previous cabinet that fit perfectly and better quality.

Quality wise it’s pretty standard for flat pack, the wood and fittings are fairly unremarkable but it does look good once assembled. I found the instructions fairly easy to follow. If you’ve assembled flat pack furniture before you won’t have many issues following them. Immediately after putting it together there was a gap between the doors. This unit uses the standard style door brackets with the adjustment / alignment screws so after a few turns on each of the adjustment screws, it’s fine. The instructions don’t really cover how these types of brackets work so I wonder if that’s why people are getting gaps. All the Pilot holes were in my unit except 2 out of 4 holes on each of the door brackets but I think that’s intentional. Piercing screws are supplied so no drill was needed. Agree with the other reviewers, the lock is a waste of time. It might keep young children out but it would be trivial for anyone else to open. Overall, I’m satisfied with this product.

Easy to put together, looks good only negative is it is a bit flimsy so it needs attaching to a wall so it doesn't move so much!

I ordered this for my mum who has Alzheimer’s but it is so heavy I can’t even lift it and the supplier is stating that if I return it will be at my own cost? There really should be a weight warning with this item as I can’t even get it indoors?!?
