Manga Mania™: Girl Power!: Drawing Fabulous Females for Japanese Comics

I just can't get enough of his books!!! I just about got every one of them!!! I really enjoy his drawings hoping one day to be able to draw that good and maybe even make that dream video game using the Unreal engine to employ his style. I'll keep dreaming and trying!!! Thankyou Chris Hart for making these great books and giving me hope!!!

I think Chris Hart did a really good job on this book. The book provides the reader excellent step by step sketches from start to end. I personally don't get caught up in the "Magna Authentication" controversy by judging someone else's work as too American or westernized. What is important, if you are drawing Magna and your work appears like magna then your work is in the spirit of the art and that is good enough for me. I think Chris Hart does a wonderful job here showing the reader the magna style in the form of cute and sexy females. Some of my favorites are found on pages 138 and 139 and all the adventure girls on pages 53 through 65.The book details instructions for drawing human form in magna and specifics like eyes and hair. Chris also delves into different styles or oontexts such as Kodomo, Princess Power, Pretty Tomboys to name of few. I recommend it for any artist desiring to draw magna.

My 11 year old daughter absolutely LOVES all of Christopher Hart's how to draw manga books! She has learned so much through this book and his many other books.

This is truly an artist’s guide. How to draw the eyes and girls with different occupations are detailed. If you want to be a Manga artist, this is a good beginners manual.

Full of many samples like manga basics , Shojo style, witches, vampires, cat girls, adventure, athletes, princess, tomboys, gothic, frilly and Komodo girls. I Enjoy my new Christopher Hart book.

If you want to draw manga girls then this is a fantastic book! It has some great ideas. The book is colourful and the artist is clearly great at drawing manga. Every single image is perfect. There are step-by-step drawing guides, views from a variety of angles, different poses and styles and other ideas to improve your manga drawing skills. I would recommend this book for anyone interested manga. If you are new to manga then this is a perfect book. It's also great value!

it was an awesome book because it was very easy to follow, steps are simple and they have a wide variety of pictures to copy and learn. The book is well presented.

My daughter wanted this as she enjoys drawing manga cartoon characters, i bought this for her for christmas and had a look before wrapping and it looks ideal.

Brought this as a gift for my niece as a Christmas present, but just by looking at it I would have loved to have received a book like this.
