Rothco Tactical Operator Cap | Military Hat | Baseball Cap with Loop Field

Second Rothco hat I’ve had and love them. I am very picky about how my hats fit, and these ones are a perfect fit. Brim is easy to form the way I like and maintains the shape well. Hands down the best hats I have ever bought.

I'm not going to hide any bias here, I love Rothco apparel products and have returned to this company again and again for my hunting camouflage, especially since their Vietnamese Tiger Stripe pattern gear stays consistent across multiple items. Thanks to the 3:5 odds of male-pattern baldness showing up at anytime I have recently started getting into baseball caps. That said, I despise snapbacks because of my larger than average dome and most being made for OSFM sizing. With this cap, it has a very nice velcro sizing backing and it has more than enough room. It's made from the same durable denim-like material that is used for their other apparel options and has the standard venting holes in the top of the cap for heat and vapor. I was wearing a simple, black velcro-lock hat with a ODG American flag patch on the front for awhile but now this is by far my go-to hat and it's extremely comfortable. This was my last Rothco purchase but it certainly will not be my last! 5/5, solid quality for a fair price!

Hubs likes this hat and says the Velcro stands up well. He has a bunch of patches he likes to swap out. He also has a small head and says it’s fully adjustable and fits well.

Great fit. I have a large head. Front bill is easy to reshape and curve. Good stitching.

Pros: • Great fit, one fits all (for mine) • Variety of choices for malleable teams • You get more than what you pay for • Quality control on point (esp for a 10$ hat) • Same ones we used in AFG Cons: • I had my first hats stolen when I came back from an SE-Asia tour but before it was stolen it lasted me 6 AFG tours. • Guys complaining that it’s not well made even with it’s 10$ price tag or idk maybe 11$ • Lastly, great for fit for zap tags, IR-P/IR-Fs might have to sew on some of the fabrics due to long term use wear and tear. I’ll give it 5 stars because it’s exactly like my old one, but it’s not the same. I try to care for things I own with a sense of honor and respect. I have 3 hats that aren’t from or for work and I wish I had that fourth one because that one was most, sentimental to me but I just replaced. 5 stars for being identical, hope these ones wont get stolen. Just pick a style and try it out.

Nice Cap, built well, velcro size adjustment

This is my new favorite hat. The tiger stripe pattern is perfect, and I can change patches as I see fit; currently my “Appeal to Heaven” patch is on it.

Front velcro a little larger than standard but only thing I can say as as detractor. Arrived with ample time, colour matched, material & stitching good, fits my big head even with a dew rag underneath. Aesthetically, not a big fan of digi-patterns but this one pulls it off, nice product, will purchase more even though not a flexi-fit. 6mo review: Still a great cap.
