UPDATE: the bag has now been taken to school every day for 8 weeks. It looks as good as new and is a great school bag. The only downside, so far, is that the bag is not waterproof, despite the advertising say that it is. Articles put into the pockets have been wet after the bag has been rained upon. I would advise buying a separate waterproof cover for the bag for those days when it rains heavily. Other than that, it's still a great bag and I will buy another one in the future. A very well-made and well-designed bag. Four pockets on the front, two mesh and fabric pockets on the side that are actually deep enough to hold water bottles in place and inside, there's the laptop pocket and, in front of that, a piece of thick elastic from side to side, which is incredibly handy for holding items in place. The bag is light-weight but sturdy and stands by itself, keeping its shape. The reflectors on the back are also a great addition and shine brightly in the relevant conditions. All in all, very, very pleased.

Bought this for my child for Secondary school who had chosen it. I also ordered it as it was due to arrive in a week, enough time before school started. However when it didn't arrive on the due date I contacted the supplier Hopyock who responded very quickly. They tracked where it was and sent me regular updates when it still hadn't arrived when next expected. By then school was starting so I had to get another temporary backpack. It eventually arrived 2 weeks later and Hopyock refunded part of the cost of the backpack. Thankyou Hopyock for the great customer service.The backpack is great. Colour is as shown. It is made of sturdy material and is waterproof. There are 4 pockets at the front, which are great for all the little things like ID badge, bus pass, phone etc. The inside is divided into two parts where you can store books, laptop, pencil case etc. There is plenty of space. On either side are also mesh bottle holders which are very useful. Very happy child. I would recommend to others.

Great rucksack lots of space and pockets, light weight and compacts flat when emptyPurchased a second one for myself first one for daughter for school, only issue the poppet button has fallen apart already which holds the two handles together but apart from that the zips are robust.

Very good backpack, good finish and very strong

I needed something waterproof as I go walking a lot and the weather recently has been inclement. The size is perfect for what I need to carry and so far so good. I can even roll my waterproof coat and stow it when the rain gives up. Too many zipped pockets for me so I only use the main section then it is easy to find things. Very satisfied customer.

We've had 2 of these bags, the first had poor stitching around the handle on top, which I had to fix and where the straps were sewn to the main bag at the top. After I'd fixed it, it was a pretty good bag and my son found the pockets perfect for school, so we ordered a 2nd one, when the first one finally needed replacing. This time the stitching has come undone all the way across the top, leaving the contents of his bag open to the rain after only 1 term at school! I'll try and stitch it back together myself but won't be buying any more of these.

Item arrived and was as described. All good with it except that after about 6 months we noticed that the stitching in a few places was failing. Other identical bag bought at same time not having that issue so maybe just a one off.Contacted seller who quickly sorted out a replacement.
