Well made and easy to install
It’s very stout and the hook stands off far enough for a large motor to hang straight. I mounted it to a plastic composite folding table by sandwiching the table between two small scraps of mdf. The clamp is plenty wide enough to handle it. It is nice and secure. My rotary tool is always at the ready.

Looks better than the reviews say right out the box
So far it looks much better than what the reviews let off. I guess the true test comes with time but like I said already, this thing looks solid, very simple yet functional design.

Just can't handle the weight
BLUF: Don't bother buying this if using it to hang a commercial tool like a Foredom, it won't handle the weight. If a smaller Dremel hand wand with remote extension, then "maybe."The Good: I liked the quality and thickness of the rods, and they screwed together nicely. I liked the idea of the C-Clamp mount as it is easily installed, removed, or moved to another surface. The price was right-on too.The Bad: The ultimate failure of this is the C-Clamp. It is too thin and weak, and very poor quality. I didn't like the top motor hangar as well. When I mounted my Foredom rotary motor, not only did the hangar bow a lot, the posts did a little as well. But the C-Clamp just did not like to stay put. I couldn't get it truly snug on my workbench. It just won't handle the heavy weight of a quality rotary motor tool.SOLUTION: I hope someone finds this helpful and/or useful...Just build your own from 1/2" iron pipe from the hardware or plumbing store. If you don't want to permanently mount it to your workbench, you can buy a C-Clamp or two that can press the base into your bench. I spent less than $20 building mine and it is VERY sturdy, modifiable. I used a 3/8" PTO Lock Pin in a 1/2" Pipe Tee (you know, looks like the letter "T") to mount my motor (you could simply drill the pipe instead of buy a Tee, but they are only $2). Mine hangs from the ceiling, but you could buy a 90 degree elbow (less than $2) for the top and then the Tee. Works FANTASTIC.

Very sturdy.
Height is adjustable by adding or subtracting pole sections. Heavy duty unit. Very sturdy.

Does the job
I think that this works fine- does the job.

Get what you pay for
Probably good for small rotary tools but bends over under the weight of a heavier flex shaft type. Pretty flimsy

Does what it is supposed to do
What was needed for my tool

Easy set up, fast delivery and worth the money
I love the height and it seems sturdy enough, I bought the more expensive one
