Intro-Tech TE-03-R Silver Ultimate Reflector Custom Fit Folding Windshield Sunshade for Select Tesla 3 Models

The product is thick, so I thought it would be very sturdy. However, it bends and compressed very easy. You kind of have to baby it some, otherwise, it does what is supposed to do, keeps the sun from heating up the seats and protects the dashboard. But don’t expect it to keep the heat out.

I've used Intro-Tech's excellent windshield sunshades for Porsche Macan and Infiniti JX/QX60, so was glad to find they made it also for Tesla Model 3, which has the same windshield as my new Model Y. Same great thick build quality, and keeps the cars much cooler. There is a trapezoid gap around the rear-view mirror, but per the included note, it'd be hard to get this shade on otherwise.The "leatherette" bag name is misleading. It's their usual custom-size black and gray sturdy nylon bag with velcro cover. My other 2 shades and bags have lasted fine for the past 5 years.

Wanted to like the shade - sturdy, yet still easy to put up and take down (buying as replacement for the wire circle kind, which was preferred when we weren’t driving the vehicle as often, but other drivers in the household find challenging to fold). However, custom fit is a bit of a stretch - leaves roughly a lot of windshield exposed at the top and even more around the rear view mirror (tried to pull it up, but it won’t stay). UPDATE: a few weeks in and it’s gotten worse - the visors can barely hold it up now (see pic).

Fit perfect for Tesla Model 3, come with nice badly to store.

Covers “most” of the wind screen but....leaves a LARGE gap around the rear view mirror.Stated it was “custom” fit for Tesla M 3.Not the case.In fact the instructions state “will not fit” all cars exactly.Yet, advertised as made for the Model 3. LiesFinally, states it comes with a “leatherette” storage case.Another lie.It’s a fabric sleeve.Overpriced waste of money.
