A nice occasional treat
We hate how expensive these are but we get a case now and then. For the most part I make a version at home.It does taste good, just like the Skyline restaurants. We lived in Cincinnati for a few years so this is a taste from there.Very easy to use, just heat it up in a saucepan.Quality is always good, sometimes a little too much liquid and not enough meat. One can can feed 2 people unless they really love it like my husband- in that case, make 2, because he has a hard time sharing. lolServe over spaghetti, top with shredded cheese (shred it yourself; it’s way better than the bagged kind!) tip with oyster crackers, or onions if you like.Or serve on a hot dog, topped with cheese, and onion if you like.Or put cream cheese in a baking dish, spread a can of skyline over it, top with shredded cheese, bake in oven, have as a dip.Skip the kind with beans though; there way too many beans on the mix. If you want beans buy a can and add separately.

BEST CHILI FOR SPAGHETTI EVER.
I sent the cans of Skyline to my granddaughter in Chicago, where she goes to college, for her birthday. She was thrilled to get them. She has loved Skyline since she was 3 years old.

Skyline's the best!
A taste of home when living so far away from Cincy. The cans are perfect for chili cheese coneys and then 3-way with spaghetti the next day. Love it!

Good But Not Great
For 70 years I have enjoyed Skyline chili. The canned Skyline chili is the next best thing to dropping into the old Skyline restaurant in Price Hill, Cincinnati, Ohi or a latter one in Wilmington, Ohio. I just wish they would expand to Omaha, Nebraska. I still can't prepare it as well as it is done in one of their restaurants. I like the program of having it shipped every 4 months to me. I'll see how that works. At 91 years of age, I still love it and fondly remember those days I would drop into Skyline and order, a 3-way, 4-way or even a 5-way Skyline.

Very Disappointed!
Extremely watery! The person who suggested to add ground beef has a good idea. Yet, the flavor(s) weren't what I remember from Skyline. Too peppery. No cinnamon (supposedly in the original chili). I fixed "chili 5 ways" in the traditional manner. If I had wanted to eat the liquid on the bottom of the dish, I needed a spoon. Too aggravated to even consider that. I visited a cousin in Ft. Lauderdale, and he took me to a Skyline Restaurant as he knew I loved the stuff from my three years living in Cincinnati. Additionally, I bought four cans at about half this price, and each can was considerably different from this online order. Years ago, I found a Skyline recipe on one of the "copy cat recipes" site, and it was much better than this canned stuff, and it had a very good taste comparable to the Skyline restaurants. If you still want to try this, remember to add browned beef. I still have seven cans...geez, what do I do now?
