Cheesehead loves okra pickle!! Lol
Didn't ever think I'd like these - not really a pickle Or okra fan - but really LOVE these!! Yeee-um! Plus okra is super good for ya, so when I want to balance a (wink) "less nutritious" meal, but am too lazy to steam veggies or make salad, okra pickles got my back. Lol. Gonna try the hot at some point.

Love this stuff.
I used to buy this all the time in the grocery store living down south - but have more trouble finding now that I've moved. So happy to have this option. Love the crunch and flavor - no other brand I've tried comes close. Package arrived a little messy looking, taped up, etc - but all the jars were intact so I didn't care what the packing looked like. I keep a jar at the office and more at home.

Great snack but at a large price
The pickled okra is wonderful, my very favorite fridge snack. But my local grocery stores carry them, and sell them for about $3.40 to just under $4 a jar, so this isn't a very good price at over $5 per jar. But if I could not find them locally, I'd spring for a case now and then at five bucks! They are that good.

Not what you think!
This is the best. Most people think slimy texture. This is not at all plus the flavor is fabulous and the perfect addition to every meal. If you would serve pickles, serve this instead.

YUMMY
I love these pickles, which is funny, because I don't really like okra. I always get the mild. I have one problem--the jar is wide enough that my arthritic hand has trouble opening it. I am glad that Amazon sells them, because I cannot find them in my local stores.

"Hot?" Please.
Found these at my local grocer. I love pickled okra and normally make my own when okra is in season. I bought a couple jars to try. While the vinegar brine is decent, the okra are kind of soft compared to homemade, as if the okra was boiled too long in the pickling process. The biggest disappointment, though, was the total lack of heat. When I buy something made in Texas and advertised as HOT, I expect it to ignite some serious tongue-fire. The heat level in this product is more appropriate for a retirement home or baby shampoo. It's like the people bottling these are told to think about a memory of spicy food while making the okra. Total bummer. And there isn't enough brine in the bottle to add a couple habaneros to the liquid and rectify the problem. It gets one star for being pickled okra I can find year-round, one star for decent vinegar balance, and that's it.

Four Stars
Best brand there is. Wish it wasn't so expensive. Surprised none were broken.
