I used this to switch my race trailer from vehicle battery or trailer battery to run my trailer accessories. Works great. Has a nice feel to it. Looks good. Not a huge fan of the wiring entrance/exit....it would be better if they used a cord grip. Easy to wire and easy to switch. Fit easily in the tool/accessory box on front of trailer.

By little, I mean about the size of a cupcake. I use this to isolate and power off my Solar system to battery in my camper. Pretty easy to install. I put my battery on 1, my solar on 2 and run the out wire to the campers power center batter wire(red). it is very functional and looks great. You can feel each clicks while truning which makes it very functional. Only negative, they need an arrow on the physical switch so you know what position it is in. It isn't as good as the larger one, but it is more convenient.

This is a compact battery switch. The first one I ordered had problems - the battery 1 position did not work - no power. This one works ok. This one seems to be a bit sturdier than the first one. Maybe that was the problem. The terminals are close together. That is somewhat expected, because it is not a big switch. But, for 12V batteries it seems adequate. It is not waterproof, so I would be extra careful using on a salt water boat. Fresh water seems fine. I have mine under cover. It may get condensation or an occasional light fresh water splash, but I expect that will be OK. I suppose you could mount it so the battery wires are run through the bulkhead, and the removable side panels are sealed. That would be difficult with 4 awg wiring - bending the connectors to fit. And, water may still get through behind the switch know anyway. I'm happy with my choice. The mounting screws being included made it an easy installation. Amazon promptly refunding for the bad one, and being able to order the replacement delayed things a bit. For the price, form, and function, I feel it was a good purchase.
