NAOT Footwear Women's Jacey Sandal

I wear Birkenstocks as my "house shoe" (and have a 2nd pair for outside tasks), and love them for the comfort, support, and alignment they provide. However, I personally think are quite clunky and unattractive to wear anyplace besides around the house and yard (but still a 5-star for comfort). These NAOTs appear to be a similar shoe with a foot bed designed to conform to the foot with wear, but more attractive and stylish than the Birkenstocks. In US size I wear 9-1/2 wide but my foot is only slightly wide, because I'm just a bit older and wider myself; I wore medium up until the last 5 years). I ordered the NAOTs in size 40, the same size I wear in Birkenstocks and other European-sized shoes. This NAOT is also supposed to be a wide shoe. The size 40s were far too short and narrow. My toes hung off the edge and even loosening the velcro straps, the width was very constricting. I re-ordered in size 41, and although I didn't return the 41s, I honestly think I should have ordered a 42. The length is just barely enough, and these are most definitely not a wide shoe. I can only assume that NAOT normally runs extremely narrow, and their wide is more like a medium. Or else the "wide" in the description is a misprint. I do like they way they look, and appreciate that I didn't have to pay to return the 40s that were too small. I ordered them in the black and the brown. Maybe I will try a third color in 42 to see if that is the right size for me in this shoe. I can't speak yet to the comfort because I haven't worn them long enough to know if the foot bed will provide a similar support and alignment to the Birkenstocks, but I will update when I've worn them out and about. The rating is based mostly on the significant mis-sizing of this shoe, not the style, quality, or comfort.

I ordered these shoes from Amazon, without considering ordering them from Naot. There really was no advantage, but when I get a shoe like this I like them to be in their original box. I store my shoes in my closet in the box they came in, and I like to identify them that way. These shoes came in a nice sturdy recyclable box.. with a notation on the inside flap of the box saying that the original box was damaged in transit (how?) so they were substituting this box instead. That was the only reason for my return, I ended up getting something different anyway.

OMG I love these sandals. I ordered the 7-7.5W and they fit perfect. Great arch support and not one blister on the 1st ware. They are the perfect color gray and teal. I'd order them in every color if I could afford it. Well worth the money in my opinion.

What’s not to like? If you’re a Naot fan, these rate at the top. If you’ve never tried Naot, they are especially comfortable for people with foot issues, such as plantar fasciitis or neuromas. Very well made and worth the price. Lots of strap adjustable options.

Love these sandals. The strap is adjustable so width isn’t an issue. The only problem was one of the sandals was discolored in a couple of places you don’t see. When I notified the seller the gave me a credit.

I have many pairs of Noat shoes and these are up there with the most comfortable. They are a wide fit but you can adjust the straps and make them your own.

I’m a teacher, so I’m on my feet a lot, and these sandals were comfortable from the first wearing. They don’t slip and slide on my feet, the arch support is excellent, and my feet felt good at the end of the day.

I really love these sandals! The fit was perfect, and most importantly had great support. And because the shoe is pretty, no one notices that it's an orthopedic shoe. I bought another pair in a different color. I highly recommend these sandals.

I have problems getting shoes because I have a large bunion. This shoe has the adjustable straps with velcro that I can adjust & make it comfortable to walk in. They are made of excellent quality.
