Does this work for the wfr-28 radio? looks exactly like mine that broke

The adapter fit my Sangean prd- 18 radio. If I used a different adapter I had problems with static. Can't promise it will work with any other brand/model.

Will this adapter work on my PR-D6 ?

That's a good question. This adapter has the correct output (6V/0.4A) for that radio and appears to have a the proper connector. The manual that I found for the PR-D6 online specifies the following: "Note: Alternatively, you can use AC adapter if available. The AC power adaptor required for this unit should be 6 voltsDC at 400mA center pin negative. Insert the adaptor plug into the DC socket on the right hand side of the radio. Plug the adaptor into a standard mains socket outlet. Whenever the adaptor is used, the batteries are automatically disconnected. The AC adaptor should be disconnected from the main supply when not in use." Unfortunately, they don't mention a specific adapter, but perhaps this is a good thing, giving you more possibilities. If it were me, I would get the ADP-PRD18 adapter, since it's made for Sangean products. If it doesn't work, you can always return it. Hope this is helpful.
