Worth the price, worth dependability
Great welding pliers, worth the money I bought four sets of them now, I’ve even given my friend a couple sets of I don’t know how he can weld and never snip a wire. And Niece works so perfect.

Not a bad welding plier
I like the feel of these pliers, the grips feel great. The jaws come together flat on the plier and all the various functions that they are designed for, they do. Here's why 4 stars. The cutters work, but not great on .045 dual-shield wire. Sometimes they don't cut and other times they do. It's a matter of where on the cutters you are. The chain that comes on it is junk and will break. That said, I would recommend these. The cutters are manageable and they otherwise do what they are supposed to do. The chain was in the way anyway and was annoying so it breaking wasn't an issue

Welders .. you NEED these.
I love it. I was the only one with this style at my job in a fab shop and people noticed how nice and high quality these were. Comfortable in your hand, easy to use, sized just right, high quality metal so it won't dull out, thick enough to trust it to work. If you weld, don't skimp out. These are what you want.

I feel I need to clarify a few of the more negative comments. #1 The Welding pliers are of excellent quality and made of rust resistant steal but not stainless steel, its coating is even and well applied allover the pliers. when you take the pliers out there might be some darker brown spots but these are NOT rust, they are from the manufacturing process and are a grease residue. #2 The cutter section is perfectly aligned and cut well, but as I explain in the end of this review if you don't properly open and close the pliers when you first remove them from the packaging you can have a misalignment and they might not cut correctly, but if you do that first step, they then align correctly and cut even the thinnest MIG wire or just thin wire in general. (refer to the 3rd and 4th picture to see that you can not see any light through the cutters and i am not holding them very tightly so you can see they are well manufactured) #3 The grips are sturdy but like any grips how you treat your tools will define their lifespan more then any other factor and the plastic coating for the handles are well made and applied. #4 The tips are very well made but do not have serrations on the outside of the tips that could help with nozzle cleanout but if you want them that bad and save on the cost of having a good set of pliers you can use a triangular file to add a few grooves if this is required, yes it would be nice for them to have come with them as the pro version does but not a deal breaker by any means. #5 The pliers are a little tight when you first use them but this is a good thing as any pliers that come without that tightness usually have a lot of slop in them and it only gets worse the more they are used. So when you take them out of the package fully and open and close them 6 to 10 times slowly and they will be perfect tightness with no slop and the spring will have the perfect amount of push to open the pliers completely. One last thing to clarify: there are smaller MIG tips (inner wire guide and outer MIG cap. Consumables.) that might not be the right size for these pliers to grip but this is possible with any pliers and pliers that advertise to handle all sizes have some serious compromises. So anyone that just wants to say make it smaller sol they can grip the smallest to largest consumables don't usually care about the fast that when you put a larger part in those priers means you end up putting more pressure on the consumable and that can make you skip and that can dig huge gouges in the consumables and with some consumables this can actually effect the quality of your task. So it is much better to have multiple types of pliers that are set for specific sizes of consumables and while having extra pliers can be annoying, the overall result is better grip on the part, less damage on it and can also prevent over tightening as larger pliers that can grip small consumables have a very high tendency to tighten the consumable too much and possible damaging the torch itself when you try and remove it due to the expansion and contraction caused by heat. So simply put get the extra pair of pliers for smaller consumables, in the long run its worth it. A couple things i would have like to see added are a way to keep them locked closed when not being used, and serrations at the tips to help with cleanout that's about it. Overall I am extremely pleased with these and work great so far, but there can always be errors in manufacturing and if this happens send them back and get them replaced and don't wait months to review and test them. When you get anything make sure within 3 weeks to take it (them) out and test them so if there is something wrong you can return it in time for a refund or replacement. Don't mark them with your name, don't wait 3 months then discover there is something wrong and then complain and give a negative review when its something small and had you tested it right away you would have known of the defect and could have gotten it replaced or refunded. Giving a bad review for foolish reasons is not fair and since you are ordering something online and hence makes it impossible for you to see the exact product you are receiving which is most likely has slightly reduction in quality sometimes as things on online sites at such affordable pricing means this can happen more, means you need to accept that and verify the products right away.

J'utilise ces pinces pour du soudage à la semi. Elle fonctionne très bien. Le seul bémol est que les "grips" bleus ont tendance à glisser du manche et je dois les replacer. Bon produit malgré cela.
