Great find for the ADHD brain
I am an adult with ADHD and have tried every type of planner and method under the sun with no avail -- Day Planner, GTD, Franklin Covey, etc. I wanted something that was detailed enough for a busy work schedule where meetings could take place literally from 5 am to 7 pm. I also needed something to capture tasks, serve as a notebook and give me at-a-glance look at the week and months. The TL;DR version is -- It has lots of ways to prod you to be mindful of your life and help you organize it, but most importantly -- its erasable and forgiving if you just need to reboot and start over.I am also big on writing things down vs. going 100% digital. I tested out the print version of the Panda planner and would stick with it for a week or two before that voice in my head said, "You got this! You don't need this!" Then chaos ensued! Missed deadlines, scrambling at the last minute to get something done you forgot to write down, being late or missing a meeting...my personal, work and family life all out of whack and not doing any of those well.I knew I needed to have the planner be more than a calendar and to-do list. I needed it to help me get a grasp on all aspects of my life. I went down the rabbit hole of online reviews, Google searches and reading on ADHD forums. A lot of people sang the praises of bullet journals and while I love colors and customization...I did not want to have that pressure on my shoulders --- it would not end well!I knew about Rocketbook and Panda, but not the Rocketbook Panda. I started to look at it and went down that rabbit hole too. After a week of "should I or shouldn't I" I was getting nowhere fast. I just threw it in my cart with some pens and said lets go!So far I like it. I have not used it consistently or used ALL the functions. But I love that you can just erase the page and you don't have the guilt of looking at a piece of paper from a month ago reminding you about your lack of use! Here is what I love so far:* Its sturdy even though there aren't a lot of pages.* Monthly pages so you can plot things out and erase if things change*Weekly pages -- I love these! I really use the weekly and daily pages now and this helps me think out the week ahead. It has places to jot down wins, lessons learned, etc. with room for tasks and weekly overview.* Daily pages -- Exactly what I wanted. A schedule, priorities, tasks and some things to help train you to reflect on the day ahead and recap at the end.* Everything and Everything page -- Has categories to just jot down things you want to do in five categories* Goals -- first off, I hate personal goals. I also hate writing a resume so reflecting on yourself can be tough, but the book is constantly prodding you to set goals, metrics and milestones -- plus a couple of key habits you want to start (...like using this book!)* Motivation -- Really getting you to think about the why and the how to goals -- helps you commit and plan!* Plank pages -- I started using these for notes and love it, but I think I could use a few more pages as I tend to work on several projects or clients at the same time and might roll into back-to-back-to-back meetings. The Pros definitely outweigh the Cons, but there are a few things that could be better.* More monthly pages -- you only get four and some people like more, It really doesn't bother me.* Light shading -- the Panda planner uses light shading to separate areas of the planner and for page lines and grid dots and in some areas is way too light. I can barely see the lines and dots on the blank pages.* More blank pages -- I haven't run out yet and tend to put off things and will come a time where I will have to either erase or have to use another notebook when it comes to scanning and uploading to the app* Pen choice (but to be fair, this isn't Rocketbook it Pilot) -- there are a lot of pens to choose. When it comes to writing on paper, I prefer a fine line so a fineliner or 0.5mm is my go too. Rocket paper is reusable and is slick, so much different than paper. The pen with it is OK and the Frixion Clickers I got are really fine, sometimes too fine. I'm going to experiment with the Fineliner Markers and see how this goes.

Very Impressed, all around great planner!
TL;DR Overall, this was an amazing purchase! As someone who is a die hard “write everything down in a planner” fan, this is a great combination of a “paper” planner and being eco-friendly.My favorite features:From a set-up and logistics perspective:-The writing is extremely smooth and just glides on the pages-The cleaning is very easy and does not leave any residual marks-The sizing of this planner is just right! I got the executive size and I can just drop this in my purse to carry around.-My biggest issue with my previous paper planners is that they add weight to what I’m already carrying. However, I love how lightweight this is.-Across all the pages, the spacing isn’t too small or too large, just enough space to write things out!-I love the variety of types of blank pages – from dotted to lined to completely blank.-The Rocketbook app is also very easy to set up and useFrom a content perspective: I love how every part (big or small) of this planner was strategically planned. Some examples include:-Symbols where you get to mark where you want your files to store. (I love organizing my GoogleDrive w/ folders and subfolders. By being able to just mark with an X on your page and it would automatically route it to your designated folder is so convenient!)-The activities are broken down for “quarterly planning”.-The small, light grey “H” box on the corner of each day in the monthly calendar template allows me to check it off whenever I’ve completed my daily habit.-Contrary to other planners I’ve seen, I love how the goal-setting portion also includes a “Target Metrics” for each goal. It also does a further breakdown of the goals to have you set up milestones, key habits, road mapping, obstacles, contingency-planning, and motivations to help you achieve those goals. This is probably the most detailed goal-setting/planning section of a planner I’ve seen!-For the Morning Routine section, I love how there’s a dedicated portion on meditation!

Pretty good, but...
I love this concept and have both the sizes of the planner. I love that I can use Frixion pens with it, but the only down side to using this planner is that you would need to carry around the cloth with you if you tend to make mistakes or changes a lot when you do write. If you use the erasable side of the pen on this product it smudges and doesn't clean well. You will need to have water nearby and something to wipe it off. As opposed to the regular paper to pen planner, you write and erase immediately and keep going. The spray and wipe is only useful for larger full page cleaning. I still like the idea of keeping everything digitally organized, but I also love that I can eliminate additional steps (such as having to spray, wipe, scan) with regular pen to paper. However, in the long term you would be doing the environment a huge service by using this product as it cuts back on paper consumption. I'll have to use it more consistently to see if it would work for my daily needs. These were just my immediate observation from using the product for less than a week.

Just Different Enough From Printed Panda Planner to Be Frustrating
Let's get this out of the way first. The Panda Planning System is great, especially if you have mental health challenges. It is designed to help you push past confidence and self-esteem issues. It helps train you to look at the positives while breaking your goals down into smaller manageable chunks. Here is another thing that needs to be mentioned, the RocketBook concept is amazing. A reusable notebook that provides an easy way to store your notes in several different formats and on several different cloud services.Honestly, putting the two items together makes for a powerful partnership. I have used various planner systems over the years and the one thing that has always bothered me was the wasted pages you would end up with. With this system there are no wasted pages and you still get the benefit of keeping all your notes and planner pages in the cloud for as long as you need.My only complaint is the two systems are slightly different. Just different enough to be slightly frustrating. Here are the main differences:Daily Pages: The daily pages are mostly the same, with a few items being renamed and the order switched around. Also, there are 10 tasks on the printed planners and only 8 on the RocketBook version. My job is a very task-orientated one and this is a minor inconvenience but one I can live with.Weekly Pages: There are a number of differences here. Missing are the "I'm Looking Forward To", "Habits I'm Focusing On Developing", "Learn Something New" and "Passion Project" sections. I don't think I will miss these items as there is an element of overlap with a few other sections on this page and the daily page. With the extra space, they added a section to help plan the week. Each day is divided into 3 sections presumably morning, afternoon and evening. This is an interesting addition and one I will find useful for planning the bigger items a week at a time.Monthly Pages: This is probably the area that has changed the most between the editions. These changes are the ones that are the biggest disappointment for me. Every item from both the "Plan" and "Review" sections is missing. Of all these changes, these items I will miss the most. I am honestly not sure why the monthly pages were changed this drastically. I will be adding my version of these to the templates using a permanent marker. If you are looking for a focused Planning system that is designed to help you achieve your goals the Panda Planner is perfect for you. If you want an environmentally responsible planner on top of this, the RocketBook Panda Planner is perfect for you!UPDATE, I have been using my planner for about a year now and there are some minor signs of wear. This is to be expected as I use this nearly every day. I expect that after another year or two this wear MIGHT be significant enough that I might need to stop using some of the pages. I also modified the existing pages to address many of my concerns. I completed this update using permanent markers. This worked well but I have noticed a little bleed and for some people this might be a problem. For me the slight bleeding is overshadowed by the increased functionality. Honestly, I have loved this planner and have combined it with a daily page of notes in a second standard Rocketbook planner and collectively, this is by far the best planning system I have ever used. I track tasks and schedule to-dos in the Panda Planner and keep detailed notes of everything I do on a daily basis in a standard Rocketbook. Backing everything up to the cloud has made it really easy to check back on my day even months later (I have done this often). I used to print my own planner pages and I calculate that the price tag of this Panda planner and a second Rocketbook are slightly cheaper than printing everything myself. This upcoming year and all future years will make my current system much cheaper. This doesn't take into account the increased functionality that having my calendar uploaded onto the cloud.
