Misleading Photo
After researching multiple sprouted options, I chose this one for its simplicity, and the fact that it “SEEMED” to contain (2) sprouter kits. However, the leading photo on the ad is misleading, and the kit only contains one.

Great little sprouting jar!
I just used this for the first time a few days ago and was pleased with how easy it was to use! I bought it to replace another glass sprouting jar that had broken. This is one is more compact than my old one but I like that it is smaller and easier to manage but yet still able to accommodate quite a bit of sprouting seeds. I was using a mix of seeds of different sizes but none fell through the mesh- great! It came with a cover that you can put over the jar to provide a dark environment for the seeds to sprout- my other jar did not have a cover and I had to hide it in dark corners of my kitchen, which meant I inevitably would forget about it. This new one I can leave on my counter in plain sight. It also comes with a drip tray and the lid has legs so when you stand it up the sprouts don’t directly sit in the water that drains. My seeds all sprouted in no time and they all look happy and healthy. Overall I am pleased with my new purchase! I would have given the product 5 stars but my only concern is that the lid is made from plastic and as such may wind up breaking or cracking in the future. But in general this is a great little sprouting jar!

Glass jar broke on 2nd day but nice concept
Unfortunately, this jar broke the second day I used it so I can’t speak on it’s ability to grow sprouts. The glass jar itself must be super cheap, it broke for seemingly no reason in my hand when I went to tip it at an angle to let some residual water out of the jar after rinsing. I didn’t get cut, but it felt like a waste of $20 and the seeds I was going to sprout.

Really works & very convenient!!
I like the product very much!!! The glass jar is of good size & the glass is thick. The black jar cover is a great help as there is no need to cover it with a towel. I noticed that the bean sprouts grow faster in the dark, so you can basically put it anywhere because of the black cover. When it is time to rinse the beans, it is so convenient to put water in the jar through the mesh lid, & just tip the jar over to drain off the water. It is not messy at all. Love it !!!

Great Sprouting Jars
I never realized sprouting could be this easy. Now I can grow fresh organic produce all the time without a time consuming garden. Take a look at the picture above and notice the vivid green!!! The jars make it so simple. Not only that I use the water runoff to fertilize other plants. They love it!! I use the sprouts in my smoothies, on sandwiches and to top off other dishes.

Different sized sleeves
Purchased two. Disappointed one of the sleeves is shorter than the other. The short one is half an inch shorter and does not cover the glass by half an inch. The biggest seller for me that distinguished this product from the other jars on Amazon was that this one came with sleeves. Sprouting mung beans in jars require complete darkness, so was big disappointment. The fabric felt stretchy. So was hoping would stretch over time. Been few months. Not stretching. The second one I have is perfect. Its a hit or miss.

Sprouting 101
I'm not quite sure why it mentions warmth but I'll go with it. It's a easy to clean and not ansight for sore eyes way to do sprouts and I think I'm also going to bring it with me when I travel, as it's all in the size of a larger mason jar and simply. I like that it's not made of any materials that corrode (not so far anyway) and is super easy to clean up as long as you have hot water. Unfortunately I forgot my jar when I left for a week and came back to sprouts that I believe we're starting to mildew. I didn't want to chance it so I started my batch the day I got back right away and it was impressive how easily I got everything out of the jar. I was able to clean it up, nothing disgusting, as the fluids do drain out of it and I'm new at making my own sprouts so I just wanted to be sure they hadn't gone bad over the past week of being ignored.Absolutely love the hard plastic lid as opposed to the regular mason jar lids because it super easy to clean and it doesn't hurt it to get wet.

LOVE this sprouter set! Works great! Easy! I think I made the BEST choice in purchasing this one!
So happy with this purchese! Made lentil sprouts & it was delicious! Easy to use, easy to clean! Love it! was doing a lot of research on Amazon & thought this one would be the best & I think I made the best choice! I like it is a space-saver - as other ones I have seen that lay sideways, take up more counter space. This one stands straight up! Love it comes with a cover - as they recommend covering the jar the days that it is in the process of sprouting. So don't have to use a towel - the cover fits snugly! I use a toothbrush to clean the screen after each time I make a batch of sprouts before sprouting another batch. Highly recommend!

Excellent starter sprouting kit for the beginner.
As many reviews have said there is only ONE jar in this kit. I knew this before I purchased. Clear easy to follow instructions and completed my 1st batch of broccoli sprouts in 7 days in the UK on south facing windowsill during a rather overcast/ cloudy week. I used 1tbsp~15g of organic broccoli seed which produced about a weeks worth of sprouts for my daily salad. I would happily recommend this kit for the novice/beginner but it's possible to source the individal materials in the kit for less hence the 4 stars.

Only one jar
Works well. Only one jar not two but I worked that out before ordering. Smaller that I expected but big enough for me to get a few days supple of broccoli sprouts out.

Sprouted moong dal perfectly first time
Never sprouted any beans before. Got it right first time using using this well designed kit made from good quality materials. I did it like this:1 Put 2 handfuls of dal in the jar2 Add water to near the top, stir, cap and allow to soak in a dark cupboard (or cover with sleeve provided) for one day3 On second day, drain the water through the perforated cap.4 Add fresh water. Stir gently so that all the beans get exposed to the water. Drain the water through the perforated lid. Put the jar on the overflow stand in a dark cupboard or cover with sleeve.5 Repeat step 4 two or three times during the day.6 Repeat steps 4 & 5 on third day, if you want it to sprout more.7 Empty sprouted beans into large bowl, stir gently and skim off all the dark green shells that float to the top.8 Drain water and store in klip-it container in fridge if not needed immediately.

Great sturdy jars, and very easy to use
I previously tried another brand which cracked after one use! These have been used constantly to sprout different kinds of seeds and I just bought 2 more for my mum.The set includes a sponge to wash the jars as well which is a nice bonus
