The DJX5 touts a load capacity of 750 lb. and is an easily retractable ladder that slides up above the waterline; the DJX5 is made of anodized aluminum for added strength and has a double ring locking mechanism for stability. Great product!
This ladder seems to be a great products so far. Only thing I would change if I was the manufacture is to add some kind of safety latch to insure that once you set the extension in the place needed, it would stay put. We installed this on our deck above our above ground swimming pool. Occasionally the kids playing around will knock the extension loose and this could cause a puncture in the bottom of the pool.
