for easy meals that dont weigh you down. Good texture (like slightly overcooked pasta)
Worth the try! Season it up however you want, add whatever you want. Entire can is just 60 cals and has 6 grams of fiber and 6 grams of protein. Not too shabby! I like it and ordered more.I received all of my order, but yes, most of the cans have some denting. Not concerned, and will happily consume all of these and buy some more. This is my first time trying "spaghetti" made from hearts of palm. Neutral flavor. Maybe hint of artichoke. Dissipates completely with seasonings. I rinsed the contents of can then heat in pan with olive oil. I added parsley, garlic powder, salt, seasoned pepper and a generous pour of dried Kale. It didnt fry up any, but it allowed the flavor of the seasonings to unfold and to meld with the "pasta". As a hungry girl, I decided to add a whole avocado to my plate, as well as an entire sliced tomato which I sprinkled with a little B07NS5RVVF balsamic glaze . Additional salt, fresh ground pepper, and crushed pepper over it all. All together it was divine. Light and nutritious. Good mouth feel. Like slightly overcooked pasta.I dont do "diets". I just like food. I benefit from eating less, eating light, but by no means do I totally avoid any food. For my lunches, I like stuff like this. Easy, minimal cooking, nutritious. Versatile-- serves as nice base for whatever I feel like adding in.Next time I will try it with nutritional yeast to give it a cheesy esque flavor. I am not vegan or vegetarian. I just dont always want to use cheese. Or I may do it up again with olive oil then add fresh grated parm or pecorino cheese. Maybe add in a can of diced tomatoes. Doubt I would use this with actual sauce. I'll use regular pasta for that. Perhaps I will try half and half. Use this and add in a little real pasta so I am getting the taste and mouth feel but not as much of the calories and refined carbs.I also plan on doing a "noodle bowl" but using this instead of ramen. That'll be a game changer as far as calories. Or once again I can add the two together rather than using all regular ramen. Hmm.I find this tastier and easier to work with than shiritaki noodles, which I have been using on and off for 20 years. Better mouth feel with the hearts of palm. Ive already ordered more. I see no down side to eating this every day.Is it filling? eh.. depends I suppose what you do with it. Although I ate an entire can (Like a small bowl, or half a sandwich plate), an entire avocado, and an entire tomato, I could easily eat more of something. I am a big eater though. Big gal with big appetite. Though keep in mind that it was my first meal after being up for 4 hours. Like I dont want a lot more, but I feel snackish.

Excellent product and great taste
Serving size is perfect. I absolutely love these noodles. They are extremely filling- and have gone well as a spaghetti substitute. Being Hypoallergenic-carbs (regular pasta) and I are not great friends. These do not drop my sugar and give me the same satisfaction as If I were eating regular pasta.

Good enough for almost no calories!
Of course this not the same texture of regular pasta. It’s better than shiritaki noodles though. I boiled it in water for 8 minutes, then cooked with canned fire roasted tomatoes and garlic with a cup of the pasta water until it cooked down. Then added fresh Parmesan and basil. My husband and I both enjoyed it. It was a tad salty but that’s my fault cause I added salt to the cooking water not realizing it already had salt in it. I’m not going to totally give up Carbe Diem but will definitely buy this again. It would be a great item to have to lose a few pounds without feeling like you’re deprived. Will add shrimp and fresh spinach next time.

GENIUS pasta substitute!
I’ve been on a LCHF/Keto food plan for almost a year now. Using zoodles and spaghetti squash for the “pasta” with bolognese or Alfredo sauce is okay and are nice healthy alternatives, but the dish always ends up a bit watered down and bland somehow. HOWEVER! My husband and I REALLY liked the palmini angel hair with the bolognese sauce I made this week. The “noodles” smelled like hearts of palm when I opened the can, of course (and unlike shiritake noodles, it is a pleasant smell), but the flavor was completely unnoticeable with the sauce. My favorite part was how sturdy and non-watery they were, and how much more like spaghetti they felt in the mouth. Easy-peasy to prepare And no detectable glycemic impact! The only downside is that they are expensive. I have no idea How long it takes to grow the palms or what the process is to make them, so can’t really say if the price is justified or not. The can says 3 servings, but we found 2 1/2 to be more accurate (maybe we’re just a bit piggy 😊), so it took 3 cans to completely use up all the leftover sauce. Despite the cost, though, I will definitely be trying other versions of this product....I can’r wait to make lasagna now that cooler weather is here!A very happy customer!

The BEST pasta substitute!
I love Palmini products! I have purchased the angel hair pasta, linguine, and lasagna sheets and they all work wonderful for pasta dishes! They are by far the best pasta substitute (if you are on a low carb diet or just want a healthier alternative). They hold up much better than zoodles and they have a much better flavor/taste suited for pasta than shirataki noodles. They are firmish (like an apple type of consistency) and have a very slight lemony taste. Neither of those things bother me, but if you want to cook it so that it tastes literally just like pasta, I recommend the following: boil the noodles first for 10 minutes and let it sit in the sauce as long as possible to absorb the flavors. If you have the time, what I find works best - particularly if you are making a casserole type noodle dish - is cooking your meal with palmini, let it sit overnight in the fridge, and reheat/finish cooking the next day. I’ve done that making lasagna and tuna noodle casserole and absolutely loooved the results. Literally you wouldn’t know that you weren’t eating pasta. Highly recommend this product!

Flavor and texture isn’t that good.
I was excited to find something new to replace pasta. I gave this a try although it was expensive. It’s not all bad. I rinsed it then cooked it as advice was given. It still had a strange texture, flavor and smell. Not at all like pasta. It may work for other ppl as a replacement but my brain didn’t buy it. I would encourage ppl to try it but no that it’s not going to to be exactly like pasta. I would say it is more nutritious then pasta and would be a good replacement in a ketonic diet.
