Tulip Needle Company Tulip Etimo Rose Crochet Hook, 10.5/6.5mm

I cannot believe how AMAZING these hooks are! I have been crocheting for over 50 years and I only now bought these hooks. Oh my, if one could turn back time LOL! The kit has a little pair of scissors that are so darn sharp they are like surgical quality. The 2 darning needles and measuring ruler the kit comes with are also very good quality. I would buy this again in a heartbeat? My only negative is that the case has a small tear in the fabric on the outside just above the clasp and I would have returned it because of that but I really didn’t want to part with the hooks and have to wait for a replacement kit because I enjoy crocheting with the hooks and I cannot go a day without crocheting!

I have not used it, but I have a set of them and really like them, they are comfortable to use , just would like the shank a bit longer for when you have many loops on your hook.other than that I can not say anything bad about these hooks. They are beautiful to look at as well.I have other hooks but tulip are my favorite..

This hook is expensive, but worth it! I have been crocheting a queen size blanket and my wrist was killing me! I switched to this hook I can crochet all day with no problem. I crocheted for a total of 6-8 hours a day for days with no soreness. I never thought the hook would make such an improvement. I hold the hook in a knife hold and it is very soft and comfortable. The metal is ridiculously smooth and the yarn just glides off. I have already asked for the set for my birthday and if I don't get I am planning on buying it myself. I love, love this hook.UPDATE:So, I finished my queen sized blanket with well over a hundred hours put into it and I am still in love with the hook. It only took one hook for me to fall in love and buy the set. I cannot say enough good about them and I encourage anyone to try one out.

I do not really like this hook: Tulip Needle Company Tulip Etimo Rose Crochet HookI expected to LOVE it based on the rave reviews I read all over the place.The plastic handle is clean feeling, but too hard and not comfy like the Clover Amour hooks which I much prefer to these. Also, I do not like the thumb rest / thumb stop at all. It does not allow me to move my hand on the hook the way that is comfortable to me. It stops me dead in my tracks in a position that does not work for me. The Amours have a much subtler shape that world well for me, while being much more comfy.ALSO, very surprisingly, and ANNOYINGLY, the hook I received had very rough edges on the sides from the mold joint, as well as the size label being really cheap feeling and irritating to my hand. These two facts made this hook look and feel like a really CHEAP product that has nerve charging the price they do. To say I was shocked by the lack of quality once I actually had it in my hand is an understatement.Don't let the pretty pink color fool you! Not impressed with this hook at all.
