Great product, great taste
I was hesitant to get this because it's fairly expensive for the quantity you get. I was also afraid it would taste as horrific as other brands have, making it a waste. To my very pleasant surprise, it actually tastes good, like syrup for your coffee. It works as well. I have GERD and on nights where I've eaten late or feel like my stomach is unsettled I'll take a dose of this and have no further issues. I'll be purchasing it again.

Yum
I just tried this for the first time tonight, so I'm not sure yet if it works for me, but I honestly don't care because it tastes so ridiculously amazing. I have a dairy allergy, so I researched this first to make sure it was something I could use. Apparently their products are free from top allergens, yet this is the best caramel flavor I've ever tasted! I'm already excited to take it again tomorrow.

Overall good product
I think this is a good alternative for taking medicines, obviously this is completely subjective to personal health and severity of symptoms. I’ve had pretty bad GERD and get that throat acid feeling after eating, which is just an issue with the lower sphincter. I like this product because it addresses the anatomical issue by creating the raft with alginate. Keep in mind, they did not create the alginate concept, “sodium alginate” is the key ingredient that gives the “raft” floating concept on top of the stomach acid, which in theory is supposed to stop or reduce the acid refluxing from stomach to esophagus. This is basically a version of Gaviscon (advance or dual action) and other alginate products, but it’s a good product. Things I don’t like and believe others would also agree (I’ve also tested this product on hot vinegar so I can see how it actually works, trying to replicate the stomach environment:- 5ml recommended dose is unlikely to create enough raft to sufficiently do the job, based on the volume of the stomach. When I put 5ml (1tsp) in 99f vinegar, the raft formation is about the size of a quarter coiled up.. therefore, you probably need more like 10-20ml (Gaviscon recommended dose), which significantly increases the already expensive product.-As my previous note alludes, the product is already expensive at the recommended dose, considering someone will have this multiple times per day, you realistically need to order 2-3X more often making it very unaffordable-I like the product claims all natural ingredients but does have ambiguity around all ingredients. Considering the taste is pretty good, makes me want to know exactly what I’m putting in my body multiple times a day. Just because something is natural, doesn’t mean I may want to consume it.-People with reflux who are trying to find solution other than a pill, likely do not want multiple grams of sugar per serving multiple times per day. As mentioned, if you need 2-3X the dose each time, your looking at 5-10g of sugar each serving.. many people take this before bed which is not ideal to slam that amount of sugar before bed. I rather stevia or something so I’m not hyped on sugar + calories.Overall would recommend, but if some of the negative aspects such as cost make this inaccessible to you, you can likely also make your own sodium alginate/calcium carbonate blend (search online) or just buy Gaviscon (make sure it’s not the USA version because that oddly does not have the sodium alginate/carbonate blend). If they reduced sugar/use stevia instead along with creating a larger version at a more reasonable cost, I would definitely recommend and buy more.

Yummy and works!
Works as well as Tums but tastes a lot better and isn't constipating. The Vanilla Caramel tastes exactly like a caramel syrup. Not sure what the people complaining about the sweetness are surprised by. It also barely has any sugar.

PLEASE take out the ingredient that burns
It works decently enough with several caveats. It’s very expensive given that the 5ml recommended serving won’t suffice for anyone with serious or constant reflux. However the worst problem is that it stings/burns on the way down and continues to once its sitting in your stomach. You would think that when formulating a product that addresses reflux they would bear in mind the sensitivity of the esophagus that’s been exposed to acid. I suspect it’s the grapefruit seed extract that causes this. I liked the caramel taste. It doesn’t come with a teaspoon, so you need one to measure servings. I will continue to use it until it’s done, it helps a bit, but I will continue to search for something better. It’s worth a try once, but it’s not a holy grail.

Not very effective and too expensive
EDIT: The makers of this hunted me down and gave me a full refund for the product for it not working. Much of the time this is all that's really needed. You can get pretty much anything anywhere but good customer service is what makes people loyalI used to have fairly bad acid reflux, causing lots of gagging and coughing, acid in the throat, worse in the evening. Treatments with omeprazole worked almost perfectly, but I didn't want to keep taking it due to possible damage to gut bacteria.Enough omeprazole and diet changes have gotten rid of the coughing and acid in the throat but I still occasionally get gagging and upset stomach. Doctor suggested this in lieu of omeprazole. They openly admit the primary ingredient tastes terrible so they have to cover it with sugar, and this worked perfectly, it tastes good. The 8 ounce tube supposedly claims to have 47 servings but one teaspoon of this after each meal just isn't good enough. Its effects are pretty mild and tend to wear out quickly. It's been a week and my current tube is more than half empty. For the minimal relief I'm getting from it, 25 dollars is too much and it's not worth it.

Reflux helper
My experience suggests that reflux isn’t cured it’s treated. This product while it won’t cure the problem it is very effective. It can stop a reflux incident from getting worse. And can provide much needed relief. It tastes good and I have seen no side effects. It doesn’t seem to cause any problems with other meds or foods. It’s totally different than antacids, PPIs, etc
