Looks great, but it won't last
This is a really nice looking pencil cup. The leather looks and feels genuine. The size, weight, aesthetics all suggest a much more expensive product, but the bonded leather isn't going to age well. Bonded leather is to leather what Pringles are to potato chips: pulverized and reconstituted. But the result is a fancy desk accessory that will impress your friends.

Bought this for my husbands desk in his study. It is a very "manly" room with deer heads, and dark furniture. This accessory fit right in with the richness of the room.
