Haven't made too many recipes as of yet. It has a ton of them and the ones I have tried have been great. I made them in my Belgian Waffle maker though and finally discovered that I really prefer the regular waffle iron over the Belgian.

Good price for a hard bound book. It was a nice compliment for a waffle maker gift.

It was a birthday present, which was passed around to everyone. You could hear the oohs and aahs as people flipped through the recipes.

Delicious Waffles but Conversion Errors in Recipes
This book contains a lot of really great waffle recipes that are easy to make and yield really good results. I've made quite a few of the breakfast waffle recipes, and have been really satisfied by the results. With that said, there are some errors with the recipe conversions. The gram to ounce values are inaccurate for pretty much all the recipes, especially for large values. For example, anywhere in the book where it calls for 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour it will also say 7 1/2 ounces or 235 grams. I use weight measurements whenever given the option, and will choose grams over ounces for accuracy. However, these numbers don't match. 235 grams equals about 8 1/3 ounces, not 7 1/2. 7 1/2 ounces would be about 213 grams. With smaller values, the conversions don't seem to have such big discrepancies, but whoever edited and converted these values really did the book a disservice by trying to round to prettier looking numbers. I'm not sure if they started with the ounces and rounded up, or the other way around, but even if they had rounded up for ounces, they could have said 215 grams of flour instead of 235 if they meant for it to be 7 1/2 ounces. It just doesn't add up.Having used the gram measurements myself, I've yielded good results, and perhaps for some people it wouldn't make a huge difference anyway since many folks use volume measurements which are generally the least accurate for baking. For me it's mostly the principle of the fact that someone didn't bother to do proper recipe conversions, but still wanted to include volume, ounce, and gram measurements for many of the ingredients. If you're not going to provide accurate conversions, then what's the point of including those values in the book to begin with?
