California Mission Model Kit San Luis Obispo Mission

My kid had the project and I chose this one because it was the only one available. It was FUN!!!! I went to michaels for extra accessories to make it more “real”. I bought “polar bears” here on amazon and just painted them to be brown/black bears. Yes it’s styrofoam but it’s cut out for you, easy, and awesome to work with. But acrylic paints and it’s so easy to paint. So fun!!

This was easy to assemble and very light! I glued it together with tacky glue. Worked perfect! I definitely recommend purchasing this mission kit!!

Easy to build

Just white styrofoam and white roof very basic.

When I first received it, I thought the styrofoam cost too much money. It was just a plain white styrofoam model that needed to be glue together. But then, my kid came up with the idea of using the residual styrofoam to make trees, graves and a fountain; this saved some money. We painted the whole thing with various colors. It looked quite nice when it's finished. It's expensive, but save a lot of time if you don't want to make the model from scratch.

This is a ripoff. All it is is 3 white styrofoam pieces. Pictures are deceptive. We will have to buy many additional items to make it look anywhere remotely like the photo.
