The tecnica boots was the last straw! I finally got fed up with destroying my good “public” shoes and boots where the bottom sole of the shoes separated from the top due to water saturation & damage, all because I was too cheap to buy shoes I felt I didn’t need… “garden” shoes. I ordered these shoes because I needed 100% waterproof for the yard and wellies seemed a bit of an overkill. I looked around and found Sloggers slip on shoes! Cute name, waterproof, made in the usa, mucho awesome reviews, a ton of patterns to select from, and the price was right.I normally wear a 7.5, but based on the reviews I sized up to an 8 which turns out to be perfect! There was no breaking-in period so I didn’t experience slipping, chafing, rubbing, blisters, arch discomfort, or require an additional insert. Straight from the box, wearing with or without slouch/crew socks the Sloggers fit perfectly… almost like a pair of socks. Seriously, these shoes are so super comfy that I’ve taken to wearing them almost all day. They’re stylish and comfy enough that I have no shame wearing them out to Lowes or the local grocer. They’re easy to slip on and off based on your activities. They have the right amount of cushioning and arch support that allows you wear them for extended periods without foot discomfort, however I wouldn’t recommend jogging in them. My real test has been gardening in the mornings when the yard is covered in “moisture” until noon. They have been worn daily since July 23rd and are definitely 100% waterproof. Both feet and socks remain dry, so no more wet & dirty socks to launder daily or sweaty, stinky feet. The shoes are easy to maintain and only require a wipe down or hose down to remove any moisture & dirt. Since the shoe itself is one piece of recyclable plastic with fabric, I don’t think I have to worry about the soles separating. The shoe insoles are removable and can be cleaned separately should the need arise. Overall, the shoes score big points being made in the usa and from recyclable plastic materials (including the fabric layer). They’re 100% waterproof & mudproof. If you’re not choosey on the pattern and looking for a heck-of-a-deal you might find them on Amazon Second Chance which is where I found mine for $20. Too soon to tell on durability but I’m pretty sure I’ll be wearing them when I go to my grave. 😎

Because this product does not breathe like leather or canvas, you will need to wear socks. I found that nice wool socks are best as your feet will not overheat when wet with perspiration at 100 degrees yet will stay warm when gardening at 45 degrees, even if feet perspire.I have clogged and hopped around in the mud, over boulders, rocks and stones and have not lost my balance yet (at 80 years old). I love the "step-in" tab in the back for hands free on and off. I have now run them through a gentle wash cycle and letting them air dry overnght. I have worn them every single day (8-12 hours a day) from June through Sept. this year and they look brand new. I'm only disappointed that no one has complimented me on my "cute shoes", problably because they are covered in mud when I go to the store.Great product.

My Sloggers just arrived a few days ago. It was love at first sight. I ordered a half size up (size 9). I normally take an 8-1/2. The 9 fits perfectly. I didn't have to put in a pad or insole. The shoes feel great, and they're really beautiful. I've worn them out in the yard when the grass was wet. They kept my feet dry. I bought them just for slogging around, but they're so adorable, I wear them other places. I plan to get a few other colors and prints eventually. I don't know yet how well they'll hold up, but they appear to be well made.

I ordered a first pair of these in my exact size. They felt good on my foot but were too snug to slip on and off without using my hands. I reordered a size up, and these were just a bit too bit--they seemed too likely to flip off if I were moving quickly.What I like--heavy material, extremely rugged sole with great tractionWhat I don't like--they are pretty heavy, the inner sole is washable, but it is a stiff foam material with a fabric surface. If you got mud inside the shoes (hello, garden shoes? Mud is likely) it would be a bear to get clean and--I suspect--take a while to dry. Also, by going up a size, it changed the arch location and no longer felt as comfortable on my foot. Tried adding a layer of foam insole, which made comfort ok, but increased the movement of my foot coming out. I think if you are between sizes and order the next size up--i.e. 9.5 orders 10--they will fit perfectly.

After ruining a few pairs of shoes by walking the dog during/after rain, I decided to give these a try. They are comfortable, keep my feet dry and are perfect for our Florida rainy season. I bought my sister a pair and she loves hers, too. She noted that the rubber sandals that she had been using would get wet and her foot would slide while walking. Since this is a clog style, that doesn’t happen. I’ve been wearing these for several years when needed and they look brand new. My usual shoe size is an 8 1/2 and I bought a size 9.

My yard was aerated a few days ago and I am having to water every day so it gets messy. I needed a garden shoe that I could just hose off and clean. I was surprised about the comfort and the quality for the price. I ordered the "chicken" print and they are so cute. They also have a insole that you can take out if you need to and perhaps insert your own. They do run a little big. I normally wear an 8.5 medium. I was afraid the 8 might be too short so I ordered a 9. I am keeping them. I just wear a sock with them and they work for me. I also love the fact that they are made in USA!

I have a pair of Sloggers rain boots and love the quality and comfort (support) so much that I wanted to give these clogs a try for when I just want to slip on a pair of shoes to spend time in the yard or I am gardening in the summer heat.Like the boots, these clogs have a nice weight to them as well as an insole with some support, and I think they are quite comfy.Other than comfort, I love the waterproof quality, they slip on easily, and I love the extra thought that went into the little “tab” at the heel that helps the back of the shoe from folding over as you’re putting them on.Such cute designs too!

Real heavy duty. The BEST ever versatile shoe. Great for just rushing out to the postman or something barefooted. Because they are only really to be worn with either thin tights, or barefoot. But the arch support is AMAZING!!🙂A++++++. You can tell they (won't) be waring out after a year. Unlike the cheap nasty garden shoes with a rubber sole. Nope, I got some for my mum, and two friends. Now I can't wait to get my own ones.You can tell the good quality by the weight. They are sturdy proper garden shoes. My mum uses them as slippers, because of her plantar fascitiis problem in her feet.Seriously, BUY these. And no I'm not getting 0aid for this review. It is a 4eal genuine review.

I'm really pleased with these. They were recommended to me by another satisfied customer. Very comfy, a good fit, and arrived much more quickly than predicted. I've actually worn these on a rough country walk of 2+ miles with no rubbing, sweating or discomfort whatsoever. They are great for walking the dog through mud or wet grass without getting your feet wet, or gardening, or any other wet or grubby jobs.

I am normally a 5.5UK shoe size so I bought the size 6UK. When they arrived all the way from the USA I knew instantly when I opened them they were not a 6UK even though its written inside the shoe. I did manage to get my foot in but my toes were right up and pushing through the toe end of the shoe and the width was really tight! In my opinion they were more like a narrow fit size 5UKLiving in Ireland I was unable to return using Amazons returns and had to pay for it myself. Amazon state if you organise yourself they will refund £20 for the return postage. These cost me 29 euros to return so I have lost money on having to return the product.

These were bought as a US size 8 which we were expecting to be adequate for a UK 6. When they arrived they were a US 8 but extremely small and due to the materials and construction they have no stretch. For function I would recommend but they do come up very small for UK sizes

Absolutely great. I wear 6.5 or 7 UK and size 9 US is perfect. Have been wearing them for over 2 years. They are perfect for Scottish autumn and winter and all the rainy days. No problems with the heel being low, I just just slip them on. I think if someone is size 6 UK than size 9 US may be too big. The insole is extremely comfortable and the shoes could be wear all day.
