Don't Ever Stop Making/Selling Them!!
This is my second purchase of these Witch Hazel Suppositories. I bought my first package last year, and I just used up my last one. As I was coming to the end I made sure to order more so they would get here just in time.Generally I deal with some fairly common GI complaints that caused me to try these out in the first place. I have IBS-C, and even though I do high fiber, water, exercise, daily magnesium, stool softeners, and prescription medication for this disease/syndrome, whatever it is, I do still have times when things become difficult and that can cause pain and swelling and similar symptoms.I, like most people who deal with such issues, have on hand all of the typical products from the local pharmacy – the creams, ointments and suppositories, but honestly I don’t really like them that much. More times than not they tend to make me feel MORE uncomfortable rather than resolving my discomfort. Maybe it just depends on the severity of my symptoms or what exactly I’m dealing with at the time – I don’t really know for sure. I just know I was at a point last year where I felt like I needed something “different”, something that was “cleaner”, with fewer ingredients, which could hopefully calm down some of my symptoms without any type of discharge or “warming/cooling sensations” (which may be preferable to some people under some circumstances, I understand, but is not what I was looking for).So I went on Amazon and eventually I found these witch hazel suppositories. They seemed to get good reviews for soothing flared “tissues” shall we say, without goopy creams or ointments, or even the melting often noted by myself and some others with the name brand suppositories that contain more active ingredients. When I got them I put them in the refrigerator as I have found that is the best way to keep these things intact and in the easiest form to insert. Also, the gentle coolness of That (the refrigeration) often helps bring some relief for the first few minutes. These do help with tender, painful, swollen tissues (piles, etc.), they help me to feel cleaner and more comfortable, and luckily I’ve only needed 12 in the past year, so that’s pretty good.Unfortunately, I just had a colonoscopy last week where a couple of polyps had to be removed, one on the larger side. I have been having quite a bit of discomfort at the removal site since the procedure. As we are still waiting for pathology results the doctor did not want to prescribe anything to help with this pain, but I did, thankfully, have several of these still on hand, and while they did not relieve all of the pain, they were definitely very helpful in taking the edge off it so I wasn’t completely miserable. I think they are a very good product, which I plan to have on hand at all times, so please don’t stop making them!! Thank you!!

Helps to calm painful hemorrhoids
I keep the box in the refrigerator which solidified the which hazel mixture. Makes them cool and helps calm hemorrhoids. Excellent and much less expensive than prescriptions.

1 goodish box and 1 box of slop
Got one box that only had like 1 or 2 fall apart, but in my 2nd one every single one of them had the consistency of toothpaste. Even tried chilling it to see if that would help at all and they just had the consistency of room temperature butter. Completely unsuable and I just had to throw the entire box away since there's no returns or refunds.

It works wonders. Hemorrhoids literally vanish with single use.
The pain is gone too. No mess or stain.Storage & Ease of use - It has to be refrigerated and when you want to use one, the plastic encasing has to be carefully cut open (I use an eyebrow scissor) and used immediately. If you try to hold the suppository between your fingers for even a minute, it gets all gooey. That is why I give it 4 stars and not 5. However it is all natural (that is probably why storage is tricky) and works every single time. Hemorrhoids I understand will come and go. A suppository at night helps immensely the next day.

great product
Pros:-Aids in reducing swelling associated with internal hemorrhoids.-Shorten recovery time of fissures.-Easy to insert. Due to their shape, they propel themselves up, no need to use a digit to manually push them up. Also, if you let it melt slightly next to the skin, it creates its own lubricant.-Herbals are in a wax base, meaning that the whole thing doesn't dissolve into messy liquid upon warming. The wax does soften and melt to consistency of butter at room temp.-Pleasant smelling.-Kept at room temp (68-70F) and they maintained shape and did not disintegrate during insertion.Cons:-Packaging will allow the suppositories to leak out, if item being shipped out during warm months.-Expensive compared to over the counter brands.-During acute inflammation, some people may find the suppository too large.

Safe & Natural Ingredients. Keep Them Refrigerated!
It's hard to find suppositories that don't contain chemicals and harmful additives and since it is for internal use I looked to find something that is natural for internal hemorrhoids. These witch hazel suppositories were pretty effective in shrinking them. They didn't irritate at all and smoothened the area. For internal hemorrhoids, I prefer suppositories than creams as they are not as messy. Knowing that these can melt I place them in the refrigerator to prevent them from getting soft and melting. It's much more soothing when it is being inserted cold. That said with body temperature they will quickly melt. So if it takes a long time from when you are trying to open the mold without dropping it and until you insert it they get soft. That's why it's better to keep them refrigerated and insert them as deep as possible. Doing that I had no issue with leaking. As some others have mentioned is the packaging which usually is not an issue for other products but when it comes to suppositories it is important that they are sealed after they are filled in their molded cover. These, however, come in molds/covers that leave the back side (were they filled by manufacturer) from open which makes it less hygienic when they are being shipped (as they can melt) and stored (specially if left where dust and insects can find their way in them which never happened in my case but still). Other than those I really like all the ingredients in these and their effectiveness.
