Family Tree Workbook: 30+ Step-by-Step Worksheets to Build Your Family History

There is good information in this book, but it loses a lot of its usefulness because it is in bound book form. It needs to be in a ring binder or even spiral bound so that “fill-in” templates can be easily reproduced. Make that one change and this becomes a five star item. But, as it is I will have to somehow pull the book apart to get full use out of it. There is, however, a lot of helpful information for organizing and researching your genealogy. I find myself overwhelmed by data, and need all the help I can get to both keep track of things and weed out invalid information or incorrect ancestors.

Just received it today and it's impressive. Makes sense for the most part and I can see how it will keep me organized and aware of what I've overlooked. I also have the companion book which is great too. The Author did an amazing job and I am in appreciation.With that said, I do have a question about a particular page that I don't have any way of getting answered. That's frustrating and makes me feel stuck already. (There was no option to ask a question for others to answer. I don't mean being responded to directly from the author.)

Step by step worksheets to build you Family History. Lot of reading and planning on how to organize the information you gather. Family Photo Log, How to set up your records. Compiling information. I would not recommend this as a must for the average person who is not serious about finding records like Birth, death, military etc.

It would be nice to have these workpapers 8-1/2 x 11 so they would fit in a notebook. I tried to contact callisto media by e-mail and got no answer. It also has nothing on its website referencing this book.The worksheets would be great, however, I would have to tear the book apart to copy what I need as I have over 8 generations in many cases.

Perfect book for me. I’m not exactly a beginner but was an overwhelmed collector of information. This is a perfect summary book. Easy to use, compact and important basics are all in one place.

i really didn't like the book. it's not what i was looking for. i didn't like the format of the book.

I used this book to help me organize documents and track information obtained through researching my Family History.

I have been working on my cdamily tree for a long time. The work gave me more direction and ideas.

I dislike this product as it is an American version and no good to me whatsoever. This did not indicate it was American when it was ordered.

Not quite knowing where to begin the workbook gives you a clear idea how to begin very pleased with this product

It only had a few worksheets that are useful for genealogists in the UK.

Not at all easy to use, design is for US market

I bought this in Canada and the only thing I find useful is the fan outline in the beginning for laying out your tree. A lot of the sheets in it are very USA-specific and not helpful or even alterable to make them work for you. Would not recommend this book.
