Love Makes a Family (It's Cool to be Kind)

This is such a lovey little book, it is well made and presented to such a high quality. The Illustrations are beautiful. The story in itself is fabulous because it really does have all family’s included, you have your typical mum and dad and then dad and dad, mum and mum, grandparents and single mums and dads.It a great start of have LGBTQ+ Literature just part of the story and having an all round positive effect.

Brought for use in a school. It’s great for the children to be able to read about all kinds of families!

I bought this for my little boys 1st birthday, he is now 18months and this is easily one of his favourite books! Each page features a beautifully bright illustration with lots of details that we sit and talk about. Because there is no direct story line, we enjoy jumping around to favourite pages. When he gets older I can tell him about different family structures, but for now he just likes pointing out the mamas, dada’s & nanas!I couldn’t recommend this book enough!

This book is one of our little ones favourites. Such gorgeous illustrations and lovely inclusive families. Can't wait to get the others in the series!

OK, no storyline at all, but a super little book to introduce different families and family structures to my (adopted) daughter. She likes the pictures, and it's a great introduction to the different ways in which humans create families through love rather than pure biology.

Bought this book for my nursery as we have a wide range of family types. This book is so inclusive and really sparked great conversations with our pre school children.

This board book is great for toddlers and pre school age kids as they can't tear the pages. A heartfelt story describing the many ways that families interact with their children to show them love. And illustrates that families come in different sizes and colours and backgrounds.

Great resource for childcare.
